  1. I only have 2 concerns QB and OL.
  2. There was a spreadsheet someone tracked a while back that showed that Texas getting called for more penaties and yardage than their conf opponents for YEARS. Teams magically become completely fundamentally sound when playing Texas. it isn't that that Texas isn't committing penalties it is that officials very obviously actively LOOK for Texas penalties and ignore opponents. It's well documented. our average yard per penalty is also always higher. We get the big drive killing holding or drive extending DPI a LOT. they then had to start throwing in the late opponent holding, DPI, or QB roughing to even it up. it started about 8 years ago in the Big 12. We will see what happens in the SEC but same situation appears to be happening.
  3. Ewers was just that good... we may never see another like him on the 40.
  4. dude, we did not "bet the farm" on Arch. I know you are very young, but "betting the farm" would be recruiting Arch and telling his family you won't recruit another QB in the next class. At least we can all now understand that Sark would rather have had an injured Ewers vs a healthy Manning last year after all the bitchmade whining how we would have won a championship with manning. I have hope that since Sark made the right call there. Sark is in trouble since the only way to salvage the season is to "Cam Newton" Arch. Not sure how Arch and his family will take it but my guess would be, not real well. Manning is a 20 year old who's only resume is his last name. I expect that he could be a bust. My question is why keep hanging on to Flood. He's a grown man and he sucks ass. It is embarrassing Sark is hanging on to him. Sark needs to upgrade from Flood. The OL is holding him back. Same story for near on 20 years at this University. fix it.

    ha noter dumb
  6. This. Simms had one horrible game that cost us a shot at an NC but was otherwise a damn good QB. Manning is basically Swoopes at this point.
  7. we are a dumb fucking team.
  8. Flood is ridiculously overrated.
  9. he is a disaster.
  10. this was the fear with Sark. He wasn't responsible for Saban's OL. Saban was. if he doesn't have an accurate QB he doesn't have the ability to adjust and use the QB run game. This could get real fucking ugly this year.
  11. So when does Ewers get his number retired? He carried Sark to 2 playoffs.
  12. The 39 steps by hitchcock as defining the everyman getting caught in a spy web. but for pure govt agent spy it seems to be Dr. No, IMO.
  13. back to the future is the "amazing amount of plot holes" genre
  14. I would agree. i was trying to avoid technical advancement stuff. I was looking for more no doubters martial arts - Enter the Dragon submission is like a no doubter disaster - Airport is a no doubter mockumentary - Spinal Tap is a no doubter Science Fiction - 2001 is a no doubter Sci Fi Horror- Alien Slasher - Halloween is a no doubter Texas Chainsaw Massacre is interesting I guess you could call it Psychological Horror. The Exorcist should be one - maybe demonic horror? some are hard like Westerns and WWII movies because there are so many of them and have been made for decades in different styles. I want The Wild Bunch to be one but then how do you describe it vs. westerns before it as a genre. as always with these threads to each his own and some people have different opinions on defining a movie genre. It kind of has to be extremely unique when it came out.
  15. I bet he changes for this season just to prove a point and then goes back to Parsons-mode.
  16. and he is a WR. every team in college runs with 4 WR's. there are tons of them available in the draft/free agency. not necessarily dime a dozen but they are there every year. A guy like Parsons comes once every 5 or so. let Lamb go, get a really good rush end and let Parsons cook. I will give Lamb the boost over Parsons in the "play through pain" department. Parsons seemed like a bit of a pre-madonna.
  17. not denying its place in history and the effects but what genre?
  18. so all we needed was to lose our best starting pitcher and our 100billion dollar middle infield? I guess Billy Beane was right...
  19. yeah! when was the last time we won by 70 anyway?! This is bullshit! I want fucking 70 next week are Arch can sit the bench!
  20. Arch has had a partially torn rotator cuff since middle school.
  21. Buddy Cop movie - 48 Hours as truly defining it as it has existed for 40+ years since.
  22. well if the genre is spaghetti western it is GBU. but admit that spaghetti western is a pretty narrow subgenre to western.
  23. Have to agree that Superman did define the genre. Batman was just a better movie, IMO, while adding the movie song soundtrack to the mix.
  24. martial arts - I would say Enter the Dragon. Some may say Seven Samurai but that is almost all swordplay.
  25. my original idea was for the genre of a movie. some of this is blending into the technical/movie making aspects. IMO, saving private ryan is one of the best movies of all time, and the first 30 minutes is the best opening 30 minutes of any movie I will ever see in my lifetime but it's genre is still a WWII movie. Jurassic Park is similar. It is a monster movie. I put Jaws as one but the reality is it is a Monster movie, it just has the added First Summer Blockbuster tag which makes it somewhat unique. I'm trying to figure out Monster movie(is it Kong or is it Nosferatu). I guess monster could be separated into Animal Monster and Human Monster.
