  1. Nice to see Jett Bush still bringing the pain. And awesome job by Roschon.
  2. Jesus fucking Christ. They subbed in Card and Wiley still can't get on the field. What kind of dirt does Brewer have on Herman?
  3. Wow. Card doing his best Lance McIlhenny impression. That was nice.
  4. Very much so. Subbing in Roschon for Bijan was not reassuring. Thank God for Casey.
  5. Wow. So happy to have been so wrong. Sam hasn't thrown this many on-point deep balls in one season, let alone a single game.
  6. Heeeeere we go...
  7. "Comfortable" lead means it's probably time for Herman to take Bijan out and call inside zone three times each possession... Probably until the lead is no longer comfortable.
  8. Well, he was already sitting out best TE, best RB, and apparently our best QB. Would it surprise anyone if he was also sitting one of our best WRs?
  9. Funny how plays like that tend to work when you run them with guys like Bijan and Whittington instead of Schooler and Ingram.
  10. Piss poor coaching. I blame Casey Horny. And also Herman. Always Herman.
  11. Trying to temper my expectations on Thompson. He's never looked anywhere near this good that I can recall. But that last TD throw - holy shit, that was a baller pass.
  12. Noyer seems like he sucks. Like, a lot.
  13. I know I'm a minute late but... holy fucking shit, what a throw.
  14. Obviously not. But it seems to get taken into account an awful lot anyway.
  15. Spectacularly obvious hold on Coburn there.
  16. Good call. Overshown's back hit Noyer in the shoulder before anything else. He shouldn't have dropped his head but, regardless of the rule, there was clearly no intent there.
  17. I feel like I've seen this movie before. Exactly 48 times since 2017. The fact that Herman hasn't been shitcanned yet is an indictment of CDC and the entire athletic department.
  18. He was wide fucking open. Pitiful that a Senior missed that read and it's all on coaching.
  19. 185 pounds. Fucking pathetic.
  20. And their source was FCB.
  21. I mean, it sure seems like it's over. My main thing is and still will be not having Tom Herman as our coach in 2021. I always just kind of assumed he wasn't coming because that's the way things seem to work out for us over the last decade. But imagine how hilarious it would be if this was leaked to FCB to pay him back for the hit piece he wrote a couple of years back. I doubt it but that would be too glorious for words.
  22. Uh-oh. Apparently, FCB says it's not likely. We all know his word is canon law. I'll bet Urban was scared off by the intense competition Texas faces in the PAC-whatever ("Super PAC?").
  23. Y'all are panicking over basically nothing, IMO. Maybe he comes here, maybe he doesn't. But Eric fucking Nahlin is not going to be the one break the news. And even he said "there's still a chance." I have no idea about any of this - but it seems to me like virtually nothing has changed over the past couple of weeks except for the ebb and flow of $9.95er and other "inside" sources. I'm sorry to question your faith in the unimpeachable RapGameLarry and some internet cephalopod, but does anyone else remember the panic here when it looked like Herman was for sure LSU-bound? Let it play out. Maybe it happens, maybe it doesn't. The most important thing to me is that next year's team isn't coached by anyone named "Tom Herman." And to whomever said that the "COVID" cancellations are cover to fire Herman: I agree 100% - at least with respect to the presser. There's no reason he couldn't do a Zoom call. I want to believe.
  24. Did anyone else hear the woman shouting at the refs over the call at the end of the half? She clearly screamed "FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE!" Good stuff
  25. I know that there are some issues with this particular poster. But I think he's right about this (assuming Herman is forcing the guys to wake up at 5 on gamedays or something). Some of you will probably remember the piece from a few years ago that Scipio did for BC on Pulaski Academy High's coach in Arkansas and all the things he did that defied cOnVeNTiOnaL cOaCHiNg WiSdOm. If I remember correctly, one those things was showing up at games 15 minutes before kickoff instead of several hours before. The thought is that if you trust your players to be mentally ready when they show up, getting them there hours early stops them from being overly fixated on the game and psyching themselves out. Instead of trying to cram in a few extra hours of coaching right before the game, you trust in the preparations you made all week. Now, I have no idea if this even works. But it was something that made sense to me.
