  1. He's going to be such a beast when he finishes going through puberty.
  2. It's a shame - especially for that poor dog. I sure hope the person made that page didn't foresee this happening and typed the ad out into a word document so that it can be posted on Craigslist boards for every area even remotely "nearby" Houston - all the way from Austin to Waco and into Louisiana - in a matter of mere minutes. Something like this, maybe: "Sadly, I have to part ways with my beloved dog, Norman. I am simply unable to care for him. He has been through a lot off terrible things and has seen more than any dog ever should, so I want to make sure he will receive the best care available. He is free with no adoption fee. I just wanted to talk/text a while on the phone and meet in-person to make sure he’ll be going to a loving home. “Please contact me at 352-815-XXXX* if you’re interested.” *The last four digits are redacted because I'm not a complete monster (but they're posted on page 4, post #169).
  3. Oops. My hand slipped: https://houston.craigslist.org/pet/d/spring-free-dog-to-good-home/7161242261.html I couldn't bring myself to use her real address or even select it on the map.
  4. I mean, I feel like we'd be doing the dog a HUGE favor by getting him out of there. The things that poor little dude must have seen...
  5. It would really be a shame if someone put a picture of dear, dear Norman was featured in a "FREE DOG TO A GOOD HOME" post on Craigslist with KKL's info.
  6. I won't comment on the Herman/Blake B. situation aside from saying that losing Tommy really, really sucks. However, if this results in an offer to Ezra Oyetade I'll be less miserable. He looks substantially more athletic than James B. James obviously has better technique and he's still growing, so I'm sure there's upside there. But I doubt he'll ever show as much athleticism as Oyetade - he just looks really, really fluid out there when he's pulling and mauling people.
  7. If Blake is the way he seems to be, his reaction will be epic if Saban trapdoors James in a couple years to free up a spot for another 5 star.
  8. He looks exactly how I pictured Wilbur Whateley when I read the Dunwich Horror.
  9. If anything, I'd bet it makes Herman's stubborn ass more entrenched in his decision to not before because he feels like he's a Mensa genius and everyone else is stupid - just like with Casey Horny and James Brock.
  10. It must be hard to play football when you're getting chemo.
  11. Somehow, this gem from texags got missed in the whole #RacismAtTAMUFeelsLike discussion. aggy said the quiet part loud. Again.
  12. Best for last: Gee, do you all think other schools might negatively recruit them for this stuff? Maybe a few TexAgs posts on the issue tossed in there for variety?
  13. So are they going to break tradition by hating their Senior QB before the season starts instead of a couple of games in? I tried to read the TexAgs thread. I really did. Couldn't get to the second page. The amount of racism, racist dog whistling, and ignorance was just too much.
  14. Here in Austin, InfoWars just set fire to a homeless guy's stuff and tried to blame the protesters. So, I guess it's pretty much a normal day at the office them.
  15. His cutting ability is definitely impressive, but I wonder about his top end speed (like everyone else). I definitely think his hands look elite for a running back. It'd be interesting to see them motion him out now and then and maybe run some Lil'Jordan type plays with him. Obviously, he's not 6'5", but his agility makes me think he might be able to do some cool stuff in that kind of role.
  16. Not as old school as the Nyarlathotep Institute.

    Malcolm Roach

This. Todd Orlando should be forced to compensate Roach for all of the money he likely cost him in the draft. Not first or second round, but definitely something. As it is, I hope he's able to show what he can do as a UFA.
  18. Is it Clendon Ross?
  19. He's not a great recruiter, no matter what his aggy bio says. I don't know what's on Rivals, but Hagen's not even in the top 25 on 247 for any of the years he was at aggy. I'm guessing he benefited from just being even sort of associated with the recruitment of guys like Isaiah Golden, Myles Garrett, and Daylon Mack. So, guys that were either always going there (Garrett) or guys who probably would have wound up elsewhere during most years. aggy constantly bitched about what a bad recruiter he was - this coming from the same group of morons who convinced themselves that Jim Turner was elite. He made Terry Price look great by comparison. And the lack of development of guys like Mack during Hagen's years there is not exactly ideal (Golden is obviously a different case altogether). In sum: this is a shit fucking hire.
  20. Yeah, but they couldn't even find a way to like Hagen when he was there. At just about any point, if I remember correctly. We all remember the Chief in a deer blind with his snuff boy, the fearsome Marine, and Terry Price, Ace Recruiter. There's always been a lot of insane hero worship for aggy. And all of them have basically had about as much impact on anything as a wet fart. And they were still better than Hagen. You are 100% correct:
  21. It's OK, guys. Our NSD2 woes are over cuz Herman went out and got Mark fuckin Hagen, a coach so fucking shitty even aggy couldn't mythologize him. I guess as long as Valai is paying enough that we don't really have to recruit, I'm ok with it. Otherwise, what an awful hire, especially from a recruiting perspective.
  22. I just popped in to this thread to say "holy fuck, that's an awful hire."
  23. That's a massive Vibrio outbreak just waiting to happen... Maybe it will be maroon Vibrio, though?
