I don't agree with their garish spindle grille and "how many different material textures can we fit in this interior" approach to Lexus styling, but the LC500 was done right, it's practically their current-production halo car for the marque. It's still outclassed by the Germans, aligning the BMW M850i and Merc AMG-GT C as direct competitors. The RC-F is a dated, bloated, fat cat with Mustangs and Camaros embarrasing it now. The GR Corolla isn't available in the US yet, but cool for undercutting Honda on price. My sentiments are toward the NA-market of TM, where we get the most watered-down versions of their portfolio. I'll continue to dismiss the Supra because BMW still does it better and it's their own damn car. If you like the platform, just buy the Z4 M40i-- it's faster, better-appointed, and actually passes muster in a wind tunnel test. You can't get a RAV4 Prime anywhere near MSRP at the moment-- but if we're realling doing this, and its potential buyer is willing to put up with its hideous looks, there's a Hyundai Kona to undercut it on price, a VW ID.4 in a more attractive and proven global BEV platform or a Volvo XC40 Recharge to compete with it directly, with better tech.

This is a home-and-home, right? I'm not looking forward to next week as much as I am for next year. Maybe I'll watch the first half, then leave the game summaries to y'all.

True body-on-frame options? They don't really exist anymore... mostly for good reason, though it's one of the remaining pearl-clutching values of a Toyota fanboy. Superior, but for different reasons: Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Grand Cherokee. Scoff at their reliability ratings, but also take a deeper look at the hardware both offer. One available in a turbodiesel, the other with an outgoing V8 that will be replaced with a turbocharged inline-6 before Toyota gets their powertrain shit figured out. The Grand Cherokee has better approach/departure angles, slightly greater clearance and all from a Continental-supplied air suspension that's been on that platform for more than a decade now. The updated GM Colorado/Canyon look like a tasty option over the Tacoma. I get that some prefer the primitive design of these two, but that's difficult to justify now with their price.

LOL, bring it. TMNA doesn't offer a single interesting product anymore, at least not something that isn't outclassed, better-engineered, better looking, or certainly better driving. They're mere appliance-cars for those who don't have the time or don't really care about cars. I get the '90s were cool and some believe the '90s are still alive today, but at some point we gotta move on before the rusted-out C-channel Tacoma frame halves itself. The two cars they do offer with any sort of character (GR 86 and Supra) were contracted out (to Subaru and BMW). The J200 Land Cruiser got to the ripe age of 14 years before it was replaced and they even managed to screw that up for U.S. consumers. It's now a Lexota with 50-series radials on 22"s.

A 4Runner, even new, will instantly feel like an older vehicle than your A6. Its drivetrain is a good decade older (in design) than your 2013 A6. Road manners are sloppy, slow, inefficient. I still don't get the appeal, and for those who claim it's due to reliability, what do you have against oil changes?
-
Situation is a bit different than that with the two parties carrying different interests. Russia has plenty of oil and gas to sell, China wants it only if it's cheap, while, at the same time, seeks other sources for diversification or to bully via Belt-and-Road investments. I watched this last night for a little more insight:

https://wartranslated.com/translation-russian-issues-guidelines-for-agitators-in-the-temporarily-occupied-territories-of-ukraine/ Here we publish a translation of guidelines that the agitators in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine have issued to convince the population they are not marauders or murderers. № Potential Questions Answer Options Notes 1 Is this humanitarian aid from Russia? That’s right, this humanitarian aid is from ordinary people who sympathize with the residents. It is important to indicate that help is provided by ordinary people. 2 Will Russia bomb us? No, the Russian Federation carries out only precision strikes on military targets. If they refer to Ukrainian news – these news stories are false in order to discredit the Russian Federation. 3 Is Russia here for good? Yes, you don’t need to be afraid, the Russian Federation is not retreating. In the case they mention previously liberated territories where a retreat was undertaken, this was not according to the SMO plans. . 4 I don’t like (name of military-civil official) Russia is a true democracy, and you can choose any officials you like, or you can run for office yourself. It is desirable to avoid this topic in communication, say you’re apolitical. 5 When will the referendum take place? September 11 on the Single Voting Day. 6 What will happen if Ukraine returns? Ukraine will not return to these territories. 7 Why is the fighting going on? There is a battle for the liberation of the Nikolaev region, in the near future, all the goals of the SMO will be fulfilled. It can be said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are shelling the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions due to hatred of the population. 8 I speak Ukrainian. What will happen to me? Nothing, in Crimea, for example, there are three official languages. If you know Ukrainian, you can switch to it. 9 What’s currently happening to Ukraine? Ukraine is being divided by the USA and Europe, soon its statehood will cease to exist. You can refer to the fact that in the western regions, the Polish zloty is already in circulation along with the hryvna. 10 Will I be able to travel to other regions of Ukraine or Europe? It depends only on the authorities of Ukraine and European countries. It is worth mentioning that now Russian-speaking people are being persecuted all over the world. 11 I do not want to live in Russia. You are simply afraid. Russia is a country of great opportunities, it has a great history. Notify the military police or other law enforcement agencies. 12 What happened in Crimea in 2014? The referendum took place. Everything was calm, the majority supported the desire to become part of the Russian Federation. It is worth mentioning that Crimea lives peacefully and with a dialogue of cultures, a lot of money is allocated for the construction of roads, and facilities. 13 What will happen to the destroyed houses? All houses and other buildings will be restored after the referendum at the expense of Russia. 14 We don’t have money, where can I get social payments or financial assistance? You should contact the authorities, the military-civil administration, or other supervising structures. Call for obtaining Russian citizenship as soon as possible, since more opportunities for payments will be available. 15 We are afraid of the local resistance movement (partisans). You can report any known information to law enforcement agencies. Point out that these are not partisans, but Ukrainian sabotage groups. 16 What will happen to Ukrainian passports? Will they be taken away? No, you keep them. 17 How can I ask for targeted assistance? You can let us know your needs and we will make every effort to collect funds. 18 Will children be taught in schools from September? In what language? Yes, everything will be carried out according to plan, schools will work as usual. Education will be offered in Russian, however, you can apply to have classes created with instruction in Ukrainian. Refer to the experience in Crimea. 19 Why are you doing this, are you getting paid for it? No, we are volunteers, we work on behalf of all caring citizens and do not receive any remuneration for this. In addition, you are not a member of political parties. 20 Is everything calm in Crimea? Yes, thanks to the Russian army, the Crimeans have not known the sounds of gunshots for a long time. 21 Why is the Russian army engaged in looting? The Russian army is not engaged in looting, unlike the Armed Forces of Ukraine If you become a witness, say that this is a human factor and all those responsible will be brought to justice. 22 Is Russian army shelling Ukrainian cities? No, only military targets. 23 What is the healthcare system like in Russia? Better than in Ukraine. Russia has one of the best healthcare systems. 24 They say that there is poverty in Russia. . This is a lie, in Russia almost everyone can afford a private car. Tell them that cars in the Russian Federation are cheaper than in Ukraine 25 What army will our children serve in? In the Russian Army. 26 Our relatives live in Ukraine – will we be able to communicate with them and see each other? Of course, in Russia there is no hatred for ordinary Ukrainians. 27 We are told about Bucha (or any other fake). . This is a fake from Zelensky and his team. Advise to get acquainted with the investigation done by Russian military correspondents, remind about Zelensky’s previous occupation. 28 Does Zelensky really hate us? Zelensky decides nothing, everything is decided by his curators from the United States. Mention that he is a drug addict. 29 My relatives are fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (any other unit) Recommend to persuade them to switch over to the side of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Notify the military police or other law enforcement agencies. 30 Why is military equipment located near houses? For your protection and safety. Mention that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are hiding behind residential facilities

Now tell me about their supporting staff and whom you'd like to see retained as Texas transitions to the SEC? And no, we can't cherry-pick Traylor, and yes, Sark is already recruiting successfully against Saban, Smart, Jimbo, Heupel, Kelly, Kiffin and Napier. Sark is in the right place at the right time. Few of us are happy about the defense side of the ball and the OL is still serviceable at best, but the changes made in the spring already address those concerns, just that it's going to take longer than one offseason to bear fruit.

I don't buy it, but that's convenient for the propoganda. Putin's reach is sunsetting; more will be revealed by how the transition/succession of power plays out.

I suppose anyone spending time in western Europe over the last decade could have seen this coming, with their central banks leading the charge in monetary policy and velocity of money parked in real estate. I just never thought it would catch up here over such a short period of time, while consumers are blinded by the fallacy that the unnatural hike in all-things-residential real estate was due to an inevitable supply shortage, but no mention of the demand side from speculation and asset class to park liquidity. Of course, at the same time, the Fed also injected $5.8T in Treasury Securities and $2.7T in Mortgage-backed Securities. For those shafted Millenials, Policy makers' have said the quiet part out loud, by only addressing inflationary pressures from culling demand, while at the same time, discouraged wage appreciation over the myth of the "wage-price spiral" theory. -

All of this. Millennials who were renting pre-pandemic (and couldn't get ahead to afford the downpayment) sure as shit aren't finding a single-family 'starter home' in any metro outside of Hillfuck, Missouri. Access to dirt-cheap capital and loose-enough underwriting regulations allowed Mom & Pop as well as the Institutional Investor load into housing as a new investment asset. These 'investors' are also leveraging rent price escalations (and at one point, AirBnB bookings) to pay said mortgage with legislators keeping thumbs up their collective asses over the potential to tax them more aggressively. The 2018-era 'starter home' of $400K (in metro suburbia) became $600K in most markets. That Gen-Z family needed to cough up another $10K to cover their downpayment, but wait.. they just got beat out by some faceless cash buyer who's hidden behind an iBuyer agent or has an Internet-based management company renting this one out, among four other SFHs in the same development. It is the new norm, at least until those holding multiple properties get rekt by other means and the glut of their inventory is unloaded on the market at once, taking home values with them. The rate hikes have barely made a dent so far, everyone is clutching to their listing price with slimy realtors convincing sellers to just pay down the buyer's rate. -

Every recruiting cycle, I get so tired of his shit. A completely new generation of "fans" have replaced those older/wiser to the shens he's able to get away with, so that nearly all of social media raves over Saban as some wizard of recruiting. Yeahokay.gif, BoB is your OC/QB coach. -

They're also "Democrats" when they adopt the NIMBY and, "I got mine, go fuck yourself," mannerisms.
