  1. Just checked and up until now their class was looking pretty pedestrian. Over the last couple of days they’ve picked up two 4s and a 5*. Now they appear to be leading for the services of the #9 player (OT) in next year’s class. Looks like that old high school coach is beginning to cook. Not sure any of this would be possible without Campbell’s obsession with offensive lines.
  2. In all fairness, Tech has to be pretty happy with life without Texas. Hell, they’re even getting to experience what it feels like to win February.
  3. UT was never gonna schedule Tech. Even they know that.
  4. This bill takes the ICE budget from 8 billion to 30 billion. We are funding Trump’s deportation army.
  5. I get your point. Heard a discussion/debate earlier today on black Sirius on the worth of Hakeem Jeffries as Minority Leader. Some dismiss him because he takes money from AIPAC, while others see that as having nothing to do with how poorly he has managed his perception and with how little he done to energize the base. Until his position is seen as something other than a way raise monies from corporate interests, his potential as an effective leader of the Democrats will be unrealized. Those who believe who you take money from matters, have a point.
  6. Chip Roy was full of piss and vinegar when railing against the BBB. He was almost eloquent in his condemnation of the ways the bill would harm his constituents. Then Trump offered him merch and he caved.
  7. Unless and until Colin clearly communicates what his plan is for activating and energizing a moribund base electorate, he’s wasting his appeals for money. He has to champion the interests important to Democrats and stop being so maddeningly beseeching of people who will never vote for him. Take a page from Mamdani’s playbook. Stand in your beliefs. Try new things and promise to adjust and change when they don’t work.
  8. What makes these people you know liberals since they don’t hold to much of a liberal worldview?
  9. Go sign the petition: Americans have started a petition asking the US government to deport Melania Trump, her parents and Barron Trump amid the President's plan to target naturalised citizens for deportation. A petition on MoveOn has gained traction online demanding that US First Lady Melania Trump her son Barron, and her parents also be deported, reports The Irish Star. The petition says that since the President wants to deport naturalized citizens, "it's only fair that Melania and her parents are on the first boat out." This comes as the Department of Justice began to prioritize stripping naturalized Americans of their citizenship when charged with crimes.
  10. CBS agrees to a 16 million bribe by Trump. Why was this suit filed in Amarillo? CBS News parent Paramount Global has agreed to pay $16 million to resolve an extraordinary lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump over a “60 Minutes” news report last fall. The long-gestating and highly controversial settlement payment was announced by Paramount late Tuesday night. Paramount said the $16 million sum “includes plaintiffs’ fees and costs,” and will not be paid to Trump directly, but instead will be allocated to Trump’s future presidential library — mirroring a settlement agreement that Disney’s ABC struck with Trump last December.
  11. She’d be shocked to learn that some native Louisianans eat greens their fingers, much like she eats wings with hers…stupid heifer.
  12. Well, the reviews for the Trump cologne are in. Going for $249 per 3.3 oz., there’s nothing else like it on the market: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/articles/trump-newest-scam-stinks-literally-193234011.html Early reviews of the scents don’t bode well. Descriptions of the scent on perfume rating site Fragrantica say the men’s version of Victory 47-45 has outdoorsy top notes mixed with cardamom, middle notes of geranium, and woody base notes of amberwood. Overall, it received a rating of 1.66 out of five with 436 votes. One reviewer said it made them feel “nauseous,” while another said it was “way, way, way” overpriced with “very poor longevity and projection.” It “legit smells like something you could get at Ross for $26,” the second reviewer wrote, noting that the cologne resembles a mixture of more popular perfumes, but worse. “There just really isn’t any reason to own this unless Trump is your God.” The women’s version didn’t get better ratings, receiving a score of 1.45 out of five with 250 votes. The scent is supposed to smell citrusy, built on a base of vanilla with strawberry middle notes, though one reviewer said it smelled more like “Don’s Diaper.” Others were aghast at the “cheap” design of the bottle itself, with one user writing that it was “utterly appalling” that Trump remained atop the women’s scent, apparently lacking the “decency to put his third trophy wife on top.”
  13. 49% of people on Medicaid voted for Donald Trump. 49%. And for anybody wanting to blame Democrats for this shift, I urge you to to get the fuck outta here. Put the blame where it belongs - on the stupid sons a bitches who bought into Trump’s racist appeals and voted against their own self interests once again.
  14. Is Trump still jealous of Obama? https://newrepublic.com/post/197407/trump-democratic-senator-coons-iran Early Monday morning, President Donald Trump lashed out against Democratic Senator Chris Coons for mentioning reports that the Trump administration is looking to negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran eerily similar to the Obama-era agreement Trump discarded during his first term. On Thursday, CNN, citing four sources familiar with the matter, reported that “the Trump administration has discussed possibly helping Iran access as much as $30 billion to build a civilian-energy-producing nuclear program, easing sanctions, and freeing up billions of dollars in restricted Iranian funds.” Trump at the time called such reports a “HOAX” propagated by a “SleazeBag” within the “Fake News Media.” Coons cited the reports in a Sunday appearance on Fox News, telling host Shannon Bream, “I’ll just note that President Trump, by press accounts, is now moving towards negotiation and offering Iran a deal that looks somewhat similar to the Iran deal that was offered by Obama: tens of billions of dollars of incentives and reduced sanctions in exchange for abandoning their nuclear program.”
  15. The only answer is to give everybody in America a gun. We’ll be much safer.
