  1. Every time I get a look at how Trump has jacked up the WH with all that tacky fake gold stuff, I become more horrified. It seems to get worse by the day. Damn.
  2. The only thing missing from the teleprompter was “, you sons a bitches.” at the end.
  3. Good grief.
  4. In addition to packing the SC, one of the most urgent things that must be done post Trump is to make racism unpopular and socially unacceptable again.
  5. I wasn’t aware he was arrested: https://x.com/i/status/2000286445261803810
  6. This is a nightmare.
  7. I’m talking about the power that one has to get what one wants out of these love relationships.
  8. As it turns out (and it’s important how these things turn out) she seems to have had more power. Just as Shannon Sharpe’s “girlfriend” had more power. He lost his job, and his reputation was ruined… all because he stupidly thought he was paying for privilege.
  9. Is there anybody in this thread who believes Moore is the innocent little victim?
  10. Okay. Not sure what that has to do with anything I’ve written. But to your point. The Michigan boards, along with a bevy of sports writers, insiders and analysts have speculated long before this revelation, that Moore was not up to the task and would be replaced in ‘26. That said, Moore is out of a job because of his own actions and behavior, performance not withstanding. You got a sense of the kind of man he is when his sorry ass went crying to girlfriend, blaming her for ruining his life and threatening to kill himself (which he would never do because he’s too in love with himself).
  11. I know the narrative. I just don’t believe it’s 100% accurate. Moore clearly had positional power and influence, Girlfriend had personal power and influence. Most would prefer the latter since the former can be gone in a flash. Ask Moore.
  12. Well, that’s certainly one way of looking at it. Otoh, an ill intentioned woman might lie on a black man known to like white women and accuse him of something not caught on camera in a hotel lobby and get him fired. Amy Cooper literally bragged about the racial dynamic she invoked while claiming her lie about the Central Park bird watcher would be believed by the police It’s possible to accuse a black man of drowning your children and set in motion a dragnet to ensnare every black man in a county. There used to be a time when a black male teen could be bludgeoned to death based on a later recanted lie of white woman These things occur because of the idolatry of whiteness present in white people and people of color
  13. Some here believe the race dynamic is less consequential than the power dynamic. I think it’s important not to downplay the consequences of race in situations like this. They guy who dragged Moore in the video clip up thread did so in a comical way but he was making a serious point about men like Moore.
  14. KK did the same thing when Juluke coached RBs at Tech.
