Fire your guests. There is only one recipe

Best fish to grill? Salmon just sounds boring but, being in DFW, I wouldn't say I have a huge array.

Tell me your interest in the following
- International flights
- Business class vs premium economy vs economy
- Airport lounges and spending any time in them before flights
- Hotel and how much you demand VIP treatment
There's so many options for you but it really depends on your interest in those topics.
I don't have status anywhere so first class and premium stuff is pretty low on my priorities. I really just would want to benefit from accruing free flights and the like. I say SWA b/c Love is close to me and flights direct to most of my territories. Hotels? Kind of same as flights. Never really had to regularly stay at "premium" type of hotels but wouldn't say I'm opposed. Really all I've heard is to big a hotel chain and stick with them to earn points.

Define what you’re looking for in a tip? General travel, games to the system, or what exactly?
Both, I suppose. Anything that a beginning road warrior should know or do. I've opened "loyalty" accounts to both Enterprise and National and already have one for SWA. I'm waiting to get a travel card until things really open back up and my travel will full throttle. Already pre-check cleared. What else should I look into or be aware of?

I cooked 12 pies over the course of the baylor game and didn't turn it off. Only took abt 25% of the tankyou koda folks. how long does a 10# propane tank last you? -
Well things got interesting. Anyone know what the black thing is? And why it would be tied to a cat5 cable that is unconnected?Does anyone know what the yellow wire is? I assume blue is internet from central home wiring cabinet and large grey is obviously hdmi.
And in other picture, coax is? Sub? General coax from central home wiring cabinet?

Walked into the crying 3 year old's bedroom to put her back to bed while wearing my UT sweatpants. She saw them and asked for some "hook 'ems" for her to wear. Shed a tear and am now shopping for some Horn pjs

Not cashing anything out, just stocking cash for the eventual overreaction from the markets.

what's the end of it look like?
It's an untapped cat5E cable.
Do you think the blue cat5 is the cable from the main run to the media room and the yellow might be the media room line to the ceiling drop?

My Granny make a pie that was out of this world. I only heard it called Mother's Pie, never knew the real name or if there even was one. It was sort of a cross between pecan and mince meat (but it wasn't mince meat or as sweet as straight pecan). We searched through her recipes, but there wasn't one. I guess it died with her, but what I wouldn't give to have one more slice.
It might be a version of this. It looks close, but I could have sworn there was chopped apple in it. Been 40 years since I had a bite so I could be wrong.
I do have an affinity for a good Peanut Butter pie with Oreo crust.
Based on Page 1 of this thread, I'm guessing she told you the recipe and you just forgot it
And apple pie a la mode, chocolate pie, pecan pie, pumpkin

What does the yellow wire have printed on it?looks like cat5e or cat6. Maybe for a phone line?
I'll have to check when I get home. I doubt it's a phone line, it's a formal media room.

Celebrated mom's birthday yesterday and dishes out 12 pies. First one was terrible but dialed down the heat and, boom, perfect. I only managed to get one while cooking but maybe I'll get one today when I reheat the remaining pies for lunch.
By the way, the Ooni dough recipe is pretty darn good. And CF dough definitely makes it a convenience- 1

In healthcare, not oncology. I have a friend in Austin who was recently diagnosed w stage 4 breast cancer. I have an anesthesiologist who I work with in DFW whose sister works in oncology in Austin. She saw her and referred straight to MDA in Houston. It is the top in the world and you are local. Take advantage. I'm told you might have to be referred so be aware of that.
Also, I'm hammered but all above is true, forgive brevity -
Anyone have a kickass carne guisada recipe?

I did check. My tahoe is rated to 9000# and the trailer dry wright is 4000.Are you sure your Tahoe is rated to tow it? I would think so... I would think the 26' would be relatively light but I know some of the Tahoes are only rated in the 6000-6500 lb area but GCVWR is the important number. I'd also strongly consider having a brake controller installed if you don't already have one. Here's a boring video about tow ratings with a handy spreadsheet: https://www.keepyourdaydream.com/payload/. At 12:36 in that video he explains some of the consequences of being overweight. Here's a link to Chevrolet VIN decoder that will pull up your specific numbers https://chevroletforum.com/forum/vindecoder.php?vin
Towing is not that hard, backing is a pain in the ass though til you get some practice. Our process is we pull up to our spot and wife gets out and calls me from her phone to my phone that's on bluetooth. She guides me in watching the back and passenger side which leaves me to watch the front of the truck and the driver's side. But here is where you need to have the conversation beforehand about patience and understanding because this is where you get into trouble. She'll tell you to go left and then after you figure out which way is left cause you're all fucking turned around you'll still accidentally turn the wheel the wrong way and then she gets pissed because you're an asshole that doesn't listen... There is a reason this exists.
The first thing I learned about towing a travel trailer is don't ever pull into a place unless you are sure you can get out of it (some gas stations can be tricky). Setting up is no big deal, the only tricky part is getting it level. Just watch some youtube videos and you'll be set especially if you got a buddy that knows what he's doing, but even then the park hosts are usually pretty helpful if you need a hand.
Backing up is what I'm really nervous about. I'm terrible at it and something this long will just make it worse. Overall, I am still pretty pumped abt it. -
I just found this thread. In 3 weeks or so, I'm taking the family on a trip to Mineral Wells SP. We rented a 26 footer tow along via Outdoorsy and I'm a bit nervous since its the largest thing I've ever towed w my Tahoe.
Never owned, driven, or set up a trailer before...what could go wrong?
The good new is that we're going w 2 other families, one of which has their own pop-up so he will help us set everything up.
