  1. That's almost impossible, yet here we are.
  2. Why is Steph Curry yelling "Light the beam!" in Game 7 not a GIF yet? It needs to be.
  3. They play every other day all the way through a potential Game 7. Pretty rough for a couple of old teams, but travel will at least be easy.
  4. A little misleading since they probably weren't getting out of the first round two years ago had the won one of their play-in games, but it goes to show just how tough they are to eliminate in a 7 game series.
  5. Harrison Barnes today: 14 minutes, 4 points (1-4 shooting), 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 0 fouls. Bruh. Not how you want to enter free agency. Not his fault--he's not a star--but talk about a bullet dodged. He turned down a big extension from Golden State in 2016 that directly led to the KD signing. What a different reality that would have been.
  6. With this win, under Kerr: - The Warriors have won at least one road game in an NBA record 28 consecutive series - They are 19-0 in series against Western Conference teams - They are 6-1 in series where they've fallen behind in the series' standings Unreal. They're probably not winning the title this year, but you're going to have to pull the rope out of Steph's cold, dead hands.
  7. I don't know what defense you play to let literally anyone but Steph beat you, but maybe Mike Brown should give one a shot. Klay, Wiggins, and Poole are a combined 10-37, and they're winning by 14.
  8. Warriors have done their best to squander it going 3-11 on FTs and missing a couple easy layups. Should be a 15 point lead with that kind of rebounding effort.
  9. He's not even that bad of a shooter, but, as good as Sacramento's offense is, Golden State will take Sabonis shooting 50% on 2s--and pulling him away from the offensive glass--all day, every day.
  10. They don't call him Game 7 Klay for a reason.
  11. Kerr playing with fire trying to sneak Steph some early rest. Need to be extending this lead while SAC is throwing up bricks.
  12. Putting up Harrison Barnes Game 7 stats with the Warriors on the broadcast...3 games, 5 ppg, 4 boards, 29% shooting. That's just mean, man.
  13. Best player on the fucking planet: 1) Jimmy Butler 2) It doesn't even make a shit
  14. Definitely getting Game 4 against Boston vibes on this one. Already resigned to the Warriors losing the series to a younger, hungrier, more athletic team. One last hoorah for the old guys. The only way they're winning is if Steph reminds people why he's a top 15 all-time player. We'll see. Guessing they'll shrink the rotation down to about 6 guys who will get over 12 minutes. Nothing like the knowledge that you're going to pay someone $30M dollars next year who might now get double-digit minutes in a Game 7.
  15. Before Murray got hurt, he had a pretty decent case as the 2nd best point guard in basketball.
  16. Please stop posting things from that attention whore. There's plenty of real issues to concern ourselves with.
  17. Does he travel around with a crowd whose sole purpose of sitting around waiting to applaud him for bullying the media, or is that just Florida?
  18. You guys just don't understand the trauma that would result from Babayaga having to buy a safe for his guns.
  19. Yeah, man, did you not watch last year against a Middleton-less Milwaukee and Miami? Nothing comes easy for this Celtics team.
  20. Steve Kerr probably isn't the best, but he belongs in the conversation. People act like he pulled a Phil Jackson and agreed to coach the Jordan Bulls or Kobe/Shaq Lakers. He joined a cute, fun team that played pretty standard PnR, isolation, inside-out offense around a frail, undersized point guard, and basically said, "Fuck all that. I'm going to change the way basketball is played." Then built a motion, off-ball offense around one player's otherworldly gravity, inserted Draymond into the starting lineup, and the rest is history. The Warriors are always among the league's best in passes per game, points off inbounds plays, points out of timeouts, 3rd quarter (halftime adjustment) efficiency, and they're typically great situationally. Not sure how else to judge an NBA coach objectively. Plus, he has skins on the wall as a player with MJ, Phil, and Pop and can directly relate to bench/role players. But the correct answer is probably Spoelstra.
  21. Yeah, but what's the point without the strings?
  22. Pretty difficult to run an offense through someone when the defense is dropping off him like he's Russell Westbrook.
