  1. As was mentioned above I've always enjoyed

    R&G Lounge, Swan Oyster.

Go to Brenda's French Soul Food (recommend during lunch as it' on the edge of Tenderloin)

    Hard Water for the Bourbon

    Tony's (North Beach) for pizza

    Mama's for breakfast

Other bars that I've been to recently

    Monk's Kettle

    Velvet Cantina

    Lolo's (Mission) for tacos

  2. Alright!!!!
No pic with the shoe?  (either the Bandon shoe or "Shoe" at guest services?) I haz sad.

I know... week flew by and I forgot about that until the last day. By then I was just too tired and hung over to do anything.

  3. You should bring a half bottle of Jameson’s and refill the treasure chest on 10 fairway.

Also take a pic of yourself with the Bandon Shoe at the Inn and post it here.

Lots of great lore over just under 20 years since it opened.

Another great trip in the books. For the most part the weather was really good too. Out of six rounds it probably rained 6 holes.0b957f576984507abbac55fc369284fc.jpg

It's only been two days but this run feels like late 2017/early 2018 when you couldn't help but have huge gains daily.  Even for long term holds, you eventually pocket some gains or roll them into your long term targeted coin.  I know the cryptorus guy is big on transferring alt coin gains into more BTC.

late 2017?... we went from 10K to 20K in like a week. Not sure it's quite like that.

  5. Wait, is this a thread where the Sales guys can vent or where we rag on sales guys?

Closed out a great Q1 and even took the last few days off to golf. Still working on the comp plan and Annual quota looks like it will be at least 35% higher than last year despite under performance so getting a big start was essential.

New Tahoe as mentioned above. Thoroughly pleased after a week.

Very nice... I've driven a Ford truck for the last 14 years and my wife is telling me it's time get something like this. Second kid will be here in a few months so a third row would be handy but I still need something that could handle ranch roads in West Texas. Tahoe check those boxes?

Just ordered a set of the new ping blueprint irons. Not a club ho like I used to be. Replacing a set of vrpro blades that I've had for about 6 years. These new pings look great.

First real trip scheduled for bandon the week after the final 4. Won't have the new sticks, but bandon is bandon.

Nice... heading to Bandon next week so I'll make sure it's in good shape for you

FYI for anyone considering a vasectomy. You don't have to get a needle in your balls. Don't be like assman.

Any Dr. recommendations here in Austin? Not sure I'm comfortable with Dr. Peter Ruff.

Yup, yeah, thanks guys! Should have expected this.

What I meant was: I think I´d get a better result if I do not write my own resume. Anyone used a CV service? Also- does anyone have experience working with a SaaS sales recruiter?

    I love you bastards.

Find a Headhunter, tap into your network... that's likely the best way and you won't have to rely as much on the appearance of your resume. There are a few SaaS headhunters I'm connected with in the Austin area and several in Boston depending on your search.

What type of SaaS selling? Large enterprise deals or mostly inside reps selling transactional?

Did the Work in Sales, need to vent thread make it over to Surly?

I don’t think it’s last minute when seat guru shows a 3 class aircraft, and the actual plane is 2 class, and the flight attendant tells you that she flys the route regularly and it’s always the same configuration.

Oh, re-read your post. How are you supposed to know the seat configuration without seat guru telling you?

I had plane changes several time this year... AA seems to be rolling out 777s on various domestic routes and I've tried to grab a premium economy seat but many Times is switched to a 2 class.

I found this previously to help figure out the difference.

Has anyone done the "throwaway ticket"?

I'm trying to get to Malta using miles with only one connection. I can go to Amsterdam, Milan, and Munich for the 30k miles but there is a connection in Frankfurt. Direct flights to Frankfurt and Amsterdam are 60k miles

Has anyone been penalized for skipping a leg when using miles? I can get to Frankfurt for 30k miles and buy a ticket to Malta for $160 (skipping Amsterdam, Milan, or Munich). This would be a one way ticket and no checked bags.

    Are you flying Lufthansa?

  12. Heading to Europe for two weeks in Feb(flying in and out of Paris) Since Winter I'm thinking I skip south of France and instead do Lyon then head to Switzerland to stay in some mountain towns. Any recs?

I'm guessing I'll just take the train around so looks at a multi country pas on EuroRail... does that work pretty well buying in advance and flexible travel?

  13. Smoking a 14 lb brisket for the game today. Put this thing on last night about 11 and have it steady at around 250. Wrapped this morning in butcher block paper. Normally just do foil so trying this for the first time.

I do have a ryobi 40v string trimmer. One charge will be enough to clean up the yard twice. The front attachment is eXpand-It compatible so all my attachments from my string trimmer (edger, limb saw, tiller, etc).

I have an older Ryobi 24V string trimmer that used to work well but now the string replacements I'm buying must not fit right because it lets too much out... always end up with to long of a string and I go through the whole roll quite quickly. Have you seen this? I feel like they might have changed the fit recently.
