  4. So I DVR'd the debate and just finished watching. Holy shit, "True to Form" was one of the best moments in any debate I've ever seen. Just. Awesome.

  15. Great (and dusty) read. Football aside, he is an impressive young man. Hope he gets it figured out on the field -- and I firmly believe he can. Regardless, he'll succeed in life.
  16. "You are all a bunch of cheap bastards!!!......David and I are asking you to reconsider." Bold strategy, Cotton.
  17. Exactly.
  18. Great job by Beto in that interview. I couldn't believe the amount of negative comments on Willie's FB page about the free concert for Beto. Like 98% negative. Comments like "I'm done with Willie! I won't support that socialist commie Beto !@#$!!".....WTF. I know Willie's fans come in all ages and stripes, but that is disappointing.
  19. I'm trying to think of an acceptable non-racial alternative for thug. Hooligan? Ruffian?
  20. I realize that for SOME people, the word "thug" may be a substitute for the n-word. However, I'm pretty sure it's still possible for a white person to be accurately labeled a thug. I mean, I'm not that old, but I can remember when that word had no racial connotation whatsoever.

Another interesting tidbit on Four Sticks...Bonham's frustration at not being able to nail the drumming on that track led him to launch into the drum intro of a Little Richard song while the tapes were still rolling. Page immediately started playing a riff to it, and the song "Rock 'n Roll" was born.
