  1. Those one letter coin flip guesses bother me, but similar pattern for me today. Wordle 222 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  2. Do you even IDEAL, POUTY, bro?
  3. I’m a five guess guy. Wordle 221 5/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  4. I think we’re done here.
  5. I need to adjust my strategy from β€œyou play to win the game” to trying to get it in 3. Wordle 220 5/6 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟨🟨 🟩⬜🟨🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  6. Wordle is on a tough streak here Wordle 219 5/6 ⬜⬜🟩⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜🟨⬜ ⬜⬜🟩⬜🟨 ⬜🟨🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  7. I worked retail through high school at a very busy paint store and it was a beating physically because we had to unload all the shipping containers. The service side was a grind sometimes as well with people who can’t make up their mind, hate the color after they pick it, etc. Generally I’m fine with this guy’s feelings journal on everything other than the hard work side. There’s no way that theater job is too physically demanding for most folks to handle. But damn, if that theater doesn’t want to pay for great employees then they won’t get great employees. Nothing has changed about that simple fact in the 26 years since my first retail job. It was hard to find good people in the 90s and it’s hard now if you can’t understand the basic formula.
  8. That Boone County, tho. First time I had it Inwas thinking β€œoh shit, this is a way better 90 proofer than W12 and it’s just sitting on shelves.” Then everybody else figured it out and now it’s $350 secondary.
  9. When it’s IDEAL I’m going laugh as all my green squares roll across. Another hard one today, should have finished my coffee before starting. Wordle 218 4/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  10. β€˜21 batch proof was great. Approximately nine times better than Master’s Collection 17.
  11. That subdivision (Sunchase) has been in development for ages. This is just a sale and re-brand to get it moving at the pace of the current market.
  12. It’s 95/5 on the Smooth Ambler. Not sure I loved the extra age, the MGP might be better at 8.
  13. No, but I just killed one from β€˜18 or β€˜19 and have a Christmas drop one sitting there ready to open so I’ll let you know. I had some 11 yr SAOS rye along with a β€˜17 MBSR and β€˜21 Handy last night and damn, rye kills it with Caramel Delite Girl Scout cookies. There’s something perfectly contradictory about expensive pours and $0.25 cookies.
  14. Three is strong today. Four feels average. Wordle 217 4/6 🟨⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  15. It’s crazy good for the age. This will be a banger in 4-6 years.
  16. Ha, so British today and I crushed it. Wordle 216 3/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  17. My starting pair were not a good match for today. Wordle 215 5/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜⬜🟨⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  18. Those are young and decent. The 11 was great and might have been the first MGP I ever killed. 661CEAE8-E2AC-4FDB-89F8-180A2F18F427.webp
  19. Tough start and a bad late guess. I’m not proud. Wordle 214 5/6 🟨⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  20. I’ve been on this for a couple weeks and kind of like it but it’s usually a little too easy. This one was pretty hard but I had a banger of a guess on Line 3. Wordle 213 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟨⬜ 🟩⬜🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  21. Very nice. Manual? Crazy frost emerald color?
  22. Batch 9 of the bourbon and Batches 1-2 of the rye are bangers. I’d buy them all day long at retail. When I cracked my β€˜21 Handy and wasn’t instantly in love I poured a KO Batch 1 rye to compare and it absolutely smoked the Handy. It’s pretty much my benchmark of the Kentucky style mid/barely legal rye category. And now that Stagg Jr is at KO Bourbon retail prices on secondary I’m not sure batches 9 and 10 are a bad deal at retail.
  23. I loved last years Master’s Collection No 16 and also last year’s batch proof. Regular Woodford is fine and I’ve never had Double Oaked.
  24. No need for a fancy review on this one because I can convey my feelings in just five words. LOL, WTF, do not buy.
  25. This Still Austin cask strength is the best Texas bourbon I’ve had yet. Although it’s way more of a Kentucky profile than TX style, but it hides the youth well and has some great sweet caramel and lighter fruit notes. I’m not sure I’d pick it to drink neat over most of the rest of what I have open, but it made a great toddy and I threw it in a decanter for cocktail use.
