  1. Bummed Nurys couldn't pull it out, unfortunately obvious it'd be Emanuel. At least Berna got exactly what she deserved (nothing) Watching 5 camera angles of people just doing puzzles is brutal, just not fun or compelling
  2. Khan Jr: Houston Confidential: Who’s recruiting the city best? We asked high school football coaches Interesting to hear from Houston coaches given the heat map I think CJ Vogel made on Texas recruiting under Sark and how few Houston recruits we seem to land relatively
  3. It's been pretty funny hearing him talk about Dia on Bill Simmons' pod from like 5 years ago and how the kid seemed like he was leaning towards football and now he's ended up as this level of recruit. Side note: Basically all of those visit days are on weekdays. I get he might have a week off for Spring Break but especially when you add in travel that's a lot of school to miss.
  4. Sweat and Gbenda did too
  5. Stampede: Recruiting outlook for UT's regional rivals
  6. Ohio State also had a 2nd 5* typeCB commit right before this as well which didn’t hurt
  7. Rotating pairs for a Final that is supposed to be individuals is always awful. You'd imagine they would have learned from I think it was one of the USA seasons but nah production continues to suck ass. Colleen and Berna proving they had absolutely no business being anything but fodder for the Jay alliance. Corey turning on Jay was hilarious. You knew Corey was a snake the way he handled the Melissa/Big T situation early on, you kept him in the game, you earned that L.
  8. QB offering day I guess https://247sports.com/Player/troy-huhn-46139834/
  9. 247 Behind the Scenes Part 2
  10. Eh I think you're downplaying how much angst there was around the Hudson recruitment at the time (and I don't browse the 247 forums but I imagine it was even worse there). And now they're outright saying that it wasn't about the legacy aspect at all, really burning that bridge entirely down. Plus didn't he lie to Gerry (maybe more 9.95ers as well) which caused a whole flip on how they reported the recruitment? Agree on the QB situation, if Ewers had entered the draft this year we would have been talking ourselves into Cam Ward, Will Howard, or a true freshman best case. Always take the guy in an earlier class if it's remotely close.
  11. Behind the scenes notes on the class from 247 part1
  12. They basically traded Sayin for Austin Mack who they brought with them and apparently love. Not saying it's the right move but it's not like it was a pure loss.
  13. They literally signed 10 players this class, Chip was beyond checked out
  14. https://sicem365.com/s/16792/baylor-to-add-gary-patterson-as-senior-level-strategic-consultant?utm_source=f5-newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=001536&utm_content=300 Would have liked him back, but honestly Gary Patterson's quest to piss off as many people from TCU as he can genuinely rules
  15. We're gonna see what KBake is made of soon since he's gonna have to croot against the best around
  16. That's simply not true, it's 2 kickers AND a punter
  17. Weakest group of finalists ever, guessing that we'll lose 2 people per final stage probably? More than half of them literally were just potatoes the whole time and just happened to glomp on to Jay/Michelle's side and rode their coattails this far Berna being the focus of an episode sucked ass, I didn't give a shit about any of her politics or machinations, but not trying to get Corey/Emanuel/Jay into the elimination was incredibly dumb Rooting for Nurys but not expecting her to win. I'm fine with Jay winning since he actually played the game
  18. We are ready for the teardown
  19. Fong notes on Bussey sticking with Aggie Lying to him about him playing all 3 phases was part of the pitch
  20. Unless you directly knew someone on the staff why would you say that? Because we made the playoffs? I'm not even an ardent defender of any of them but I'm pretty confident you don't know any of them or how they work.Having parasocial relationships with the front office of a football team is pretty weird lmao
  21. Hummer: How real is NIL? Anonymous recruits in college football's 2024 class dish on collectives, contracts and more Interesting concrete numbers, if you're looking for Texas guys, Wingo, Owens, and Kern were our signees at this game
  22. Might be relevant for this thread in a few months
  23. Shipp (247 LSU) on Bussey a day out doing an incredible amount of waffling both ways
  24. I think it is meaningful due to Sark's tendency to ride his RB1 so heavily. Obviously we had injuries to Baxter/Brooks muddying things this year but his MO has definitely been that the top guy gets way more carries.
