  1. I use O’Connor and Associates to protest every year. They’ve already had the hearing, and instead of an $18,000 increase for 2019, it was knocked back to a $6,000 increase. Received their bill, which they claim is 50% of the tax savings. Once again, I made a call to point out that they didn’t use my homestead exemption in their calculations, and once again, they are going to generate a corrected bill. This year the difference isn’t a large amount of money, but to me it’s the principle of the thing. It’s the 3rd year out of the last 5 that they’ve won for me, and every time they’ve had to correct their bill. I imagine most people don’t run the numbers and don’t catch it, so the company is most likely taking in millions in fees that they really shouldn’t. TLDR: after receiving a bill from one of the tax protest companies, run the numbers yourself to see if they are actually saving you what they say they are.
  2. Stupid turnovers killed the Rockets tonight. Plain and simple.
  3. Kevin Durant as a point guard is nightmare type shit. And still the Rockets are hanging around. Still got a chance.
  4. that was a bullshit technical on Nene he didn do nuffin
  5. I assumed Brady Anderson’s 110 were the most when he hit 50 HRs from the leadoff spot. Maybe some of those rbis were from a different spot in the lineup.
  6. I’ll take the over
  7. And now we get to see Calvin Murphy in a metallic gold sport coat on the post game show. Awesome
  8. For sure. Craig Ackerman on the play by play works for me.
  9. If Utah can’t win this game with the way Harden is shooting, they can’t beat us
  10. These officials suck donkey dicks
  11. Yeah, I’ve got to believe that when Harden heats up, the Jazz are going to get fucked up. Theyve let us hang around too long.
  12. “Give up some points “ ?? Who is that idiot calling the game?
  13. My guy was Gerald Young in 1987 for the Astros. The year after they went toe to toe with the Mets in the NLCS In a half season he hit .321 with 26 stolen bases. Fast centerfielder. Expected big things going forward. His stats - and value - decayed from that 1st season.
  14. Yeah, Kazmir was Cy-Falls and was the 2nd pitcher drafted from that high school that year. Clint Everts was drafted #5 and Kazmir #15.
  15. There was a Shaggy poster that was infamous for proudly posting a picture of his “cooked” bacon. I just know I want it cooked more than that I hope he didn’t die from the ptomaine.
  16. Oh, so it was a joke. And you are well known around these parts for irony. Got it.
  17. That was the definition of a hanging curveball on Bregman. As Geoff Blum likes to say - but didn’t on that one - Hang it and Bang it.
  18. Yeah, I was watching that live and did a double take. Had to rewind to see if he really said what I thought I heard. That was awesome. Hinch rivals Bregman in the arrogance department. I love it.
  19. Great defense, speed, occasional power, and - so far this year - ability to get on base. Perfect reserve outfielder.
  20. Yeah, I was talking about LAST year. Right. No. I heard somewhere around these parts that Marisnick wasn’t worthy of a roster spot. So far, THIS YEAR, he’s proving that theory wrong.
  21. Damn that Jake Marisnick. All he does is get base hits when he gets to play. Worthless, I tell you.
  22. Happy for you sand aggies. Now go finish it.
  23. I don’t know. I read somewhere that Mike Khrushchev-ski sucked shit through a straw for his first 4 years at Duke. The rest is history. Seeing as he has sucked shit through a straw for 4 years, Shaka is obviously about to go on a 40-year run of excellence. Right? Right?
