  1. Exactly. He is great in the role that you described. He just hasn’t proven to be a good enough hitter to play every day.
  2. No, you don’t get off that easily. You started this. Whats the frequency, Kenneth?
  3. Yeah, 4 years apart. Completely separate issues
  4. The secondary is going to fuck some people up this year.
  5. Goddammit. Fucking hanging change up over the heart of the plate.
  6. Another professional AB by Alvarez. Good walk
  7. Never - ever - seen that before. Crazy play.
  8. I literally love Jake Marisnick
  9. Born to be a Horn
  10. I meant similar to Sam in that he’s wanted to be a Longhorn his whole life. I don’t believe that will change because we signed JQJ.
  11. Card ain’t going anywhere else. He was born to be a Longhorn, similar to Sam.
  12. From someone that lived out of state for 5 years, I’d eat at the best Tex-Mex place and the best brisket place that I knew of. You aren’t likely to find anything close where you are going. I also might take a bottle of wine and said brisket to watch the sun go down at the Devil’s Backbone on 32. Or Enchanted Rock. Either would give me fond memories to look back on.
  13. Haven’t seen it yet, but will. Elton John’s voice was just incredible on his early albums, IMO. Tumbleweed Connection was my favorite. Just amazing vocals and music.
  14. Apparently, Bru McCoy’s girlfriend pulls wang. And, judging by the recent developments, she must be very good at it.
  15. Nice AB by Chirinos.
  16. That Mayfield play gave me flashbacks to Walt Weiss in the1999 playoffs, I think. We would have been in the series if that ball would have gotten through.
  17. That got damn left side flying open in Fatso’s swing should have been corrected weeks ago. Someone, I think mez, earlier mentioned left side opening and shoulder dropping. Exactly right. Nice. He sucked out a walk. Fiers was stupid not to challenge him. Good for us.
  18. Damn, this lineup sucks donkey balls. Running the Great Fat Shark out there every night is criminal.
  19. This was perfect, and perfect timing as well. Ha ha ha ha ha ha
  20. Well, that certainly clears that up. Case closed.
  21. Not so fast, my friend. Hinch had 89 wins as the Arizona Diamondbacks manager. So, by my reckoning, Marisnick has been in the lineup for the 1st and 411th win of Hinch’s Astros career. Great accomplishment for Hinch. Here’s to hundreds more as Astros manager. Damnit, WBT beat me to it.
  22. It doesn’t make a shit. Adrian Peterson spurned us because he wanted to win a championship. How did that work out for him? We’ll be fine. “As the nation's consensus national player of the year and No. 1 recruit, Peterson jilted the home-state 'Horns at least in part because of Sooner superiority in big games. "One of my goals is to win a national championship," Peterson said before signing day in 2004. "(The Longhorns) haven't proven to me that they can do that."
