  1. Can Spencer kick field goals?
  2. No. I was thinking someone who already has NFL experience, so Flood, Baker, or Jackson
  3. Nahlin just posted that there's another potential staff defection to the NFL in the wings.
  4. https://www.flocollege.com/signup?redirect=%2Flive%2F148115&utm_campaign=699829texasvslouisvil&utm_medium=partner&utm_source=multiple&utm_content=signup&contract_id=0061n00000fdwxdqae&coverage_id=13096098&sp=
  5. This could all be academic because I'm not sure Texas makes the tournament if they can't beat Kentucky at home tomorrow.
  6. The only way this makes sense is that CDC likes to hit home runs and he doesn't think he can hit a home run this cycle for whatever reason (UNC (maybe)/Indiana competition, wants more data on other candidates, etc).
  7. Blue was a Drayton-era recruit. Was already committed for the Class of 2022 when Choice was hired.
  8. IT with a slightly more conservative take on RT's future:
  9. They are working it out. https://variety.com/2025/digital/news/youtube-tv-blackout-cbs-paramount-contract-dispute-1236306884/
  10. The original take was terrible but this guy was a warm body we were forced to scrounge up after losing two RBs to season-ending injuries.
  11. Just to follow up on this - I do realize that the set of events that led to Pope going to Kentucky also included Calipari going to Arkansas, Musselman to USC, and Enfield to SMU, but I am not sure that Texas fans want to make the sort of hire where the coach is getting out of Dodge as much as he is getting hired away. I ddi omit a couple moves involving Big East coaches - Kevin Willard (Seton Hall to Maryland) and Ed Cooley (Providence to Georgetown).
  12. Something interesting to note is that nearly all of the big name programs have hired internally or from mid-majors in the last couple of years. The only exception is Mark Pope to Kentucky and he is an alumnus.
  13. I still think it's outlandish to think he was nudged out the door.
  14. I believe Miller and CDC have a connection through their Arizona days. I think he would come if asked. I also think McCasland is less obtainable because of previous events.
  15. Justin Wells mentioned that Oregon is considering moving Samples to WR coach and hiring Hall (Baylor RBs coach)
  16. What is the acceptable floor hire, Sean Miller?
  17. I don't know how to do the new Twitter embed. Choice is leaving for the Lions. https://x.com/InsideTexas/status/1890080278422647220
  18. So he's been on staffs with Choate, Saban, and Schiano and has Houston/Texas ties. Not going to act like this is some no-doubter but seems like it can work just fine to me.
