  1. Something must have happened yesterday. Ukraine is claiming it destroyed 51 artillery pieces, 59 APC's, and 65 other vehicles. If you're keeping track at home, thats a huge daily total, probably at least 3x the daily average.
  2. Yep Shoal Creek was out of its banks at 35th street about an hour ago
  3. Fayette county reservoir is a power plant lake and the spawn happens early. Jan has good prespawn action on the big girls
  4. McMillan is who jumped out to me in the championship game v Oregon. Nobody knew his name because he missed the bulk of the season, but that guy is real good and I expect he'll find some space against us. Hook 'em!
  5. Its depressing when this thread isn't getting bumped. So here are some more mangled orcs, with some truly moving camera work as a bonus.
  6. Lot of discussion about Penix here, but it was Washington's other skill players that impressed me vs. Oregon. Dillon Johnson is legit and he runs with a chip on his shoulder. The announcers couldn't shut up about Odunze at WR (stud), and Polk made a couple big catches late, but McMillan jumped out to me. He made dudes miss every time he touched the ball. Big time player. I love our team but the D needs to bring it this game. HOOK EM
  7. I have always disagreed that an expanded playoff means the regular season means less. For several weeks there have been basically 8 teams competing for 4 spots, with the other 100+ teams out of contention. Another way to say it, lose a couple of games and your school has no chance that season. With an expanded playoff, a lot more schools will be in contention a lot later in the year for a spot. A lot of games will mean a lot more than they do now -- now those games are only to jockey for a bowl where no star players will play and nobody really cares.
  8. Georgia; while they would want a B10 team it would be impossible to justify either OSU or Michigan. Putting the defending national champs in is easy to justify
  9. In a year where 8 teams have a legit argument to be in the top 4, the driving factor for the committee will be c.y.a. pure and simple. In other words, they will go with the only defensible rankings: a) undefeated P5 teams are in b) 1-loss conference champions are in over any other 1-loss teams The committee will catch so much heat if they put in a non conference champion over a conference champion. This means that with an Iowa or Louisville win, TX is in. (And TX should be in with an Oregon win but I don't think we will jump Oregon). I think the only fuckery that could occur is with a Bama win -- in that case I think Bama jumps us because they are not leaving out the SEC champ. Any other scenarios aren't worth the mental energy
  10. WTH was the target? An outhouse? Maybe there was a Russian Colonel in there poo-tin? ETA: the missile missed some valuable Russian Air Defense hardware
  11. Honestly this is probably the simplest, quickest, and cheapest way to banish him forever. All the lawsuits, investigations, and impeachments are nice, but if Soros were to covertly buy all the tickets to trump rallies and stack them with hecklers . . . hoo boy. The negative press fallout would start the snowball and then its blood in the water
  12. Typically the lowest flows on the Dnipro are in the winter
  13. Thats a solid schedule. Couple of warmup series but then it gets real and doesn't let up all season. Are we gonna be good?
  14. I hope that, as a program, a "top 25 transfer" isn't our automatic closer with no competition. But I don't know shit
  15. As a recovering lawyer who doesn't know anything about CIPA, let me offer something. I don't think we are talking about just giving copies of top secret documents to the defense. Probably they can satisfy CIPA with a combination of the titles/description of some docs, redactions, review by trump attorneys supervised in a scif of documents they have obtained clearance for, etc. Enough info to answer whether the doc was for national defense, but not the super secret stuff Not just giving them back all the complete docs
  16. She's giving him time/indulging his delay tactics
  17. At this point I assume that there is some novel tech in ATACMS that we don't want Russia to get its hands on. I know ATACMS are being discontinued, but maybe the tech is being used in the replacement. Given that there aren't all that many ATACMS and no capacity to make more, and that other missiles can do the same jobs, my guess is US officials are weighing those things and saying its not worth it. If the tech is sensitive enough I would be OK with that, as long as we give Ukraine other toys in quantity and quality that will be decisive as soon as possible.
  18. Shot em, now I'm gonna hang em, then I'm gonna burn em! Dan's feelin bloody today ain't he Ain't he
