  1. Trump and his administration aren’t going anywhere. There is virtually no chance he acknowledges defeat and hands over the reigns - regardless of what happens with the election. Do people really think that is what is going to happen, that Trump is going to get “voted out” of office and steps aside? I’d seriously be interested in hearing people’s honest answers to this. I’d honestly put the chances of that result at less than 2%.
  2. You can have that perspective, and it doesn't faze me one bit. But the reality is I continue to positively impact hundreds of lives each year through my job and enjoy the mutual respect and gratitude shared with my students and colleagues. And now I’m going to go pack for my family's 10-day trip to Orlando.
  3. And every last bit of it with the full and unconditional support of the Republican Party.
  4. He needs to be dragged out of the White House by the hair, kicking and screaming, to the nearest light pole.
  5. And all Republicans are complicit in the terrorism.
  6. Won’t happen. Republicans will immediately start up the distraction campaign in full force and in a few days, the country’s attention will have moved on to the next thing. Just like the last one, and just like the next one. And nobody will do a goddamn thing about any of it.
  7. 100% correct.
  8. Hopefully with Trump ending up like Mussolini.
  9. Does it bother you because you are still sleeping? Or just because you want some quiet to start off your weekend? Because the grown ups are all up by 7 AM.
  10. “The guy in the green shirt is doing a great job. Guys like him make me proud to be a Republican. The old man shouldn’t have been there inciting violence.” Signed, @Johnny Sack
  11. exactly this. you either stand with racists, or against them. there is no middle ground on this. if someone votes for, supports, apologizes for, deflects or yeah but's on behalf of Trump, or supports or votes for any other Republican officeholder or candidate at this juncture, well, they are on the wrong side of this one. period. sorry if that includes some of y'alls friends and family members and is uncomfortable, but there is no way around it.
  12. didnt grendel move and become the mayor of Taos NM or something like that?
  13. I’m ready. Someone start a 2019 thread? I’m also looking to join onto one new league this year, PM me if you have an opening.
  14. Republicans are actively inviting and encouraging foreign interference in the election and aren’t even trying to hide the fact that they will be fixing the vote. Turnout won’t matter.
  15. Magic 8 Ball says yes
  16. those are the same people. trumpkins/“the base” are not a distinguishable group from Republicans.
  17. lulz at Republicans pathetically trying to claim trump isn't a racist POS at this juncture - "but but but ...." the only thing more cringeworthy is @Johnny Sack telling us how he can't be a racist because he helped pay for an orphanage in Haiti, pays more taxes than you do, and therefore, the democrats are the real racists here, especially with their correctly identifying and calling out obvious racists and racist apologists for what they are and all that
  18. We must never forget TTom and the other victims of the widespread race riots that Obama was personally responsible for causing.
  19. Another part of me knows he's going to outright steal the election. me too. the 100% part.
  20. "does it make 'the other side'* angry? yes? good enough for me, then." -all Trump supporters and apologists *non-traitors
  21. Narrator: they have.
  22. this sounds great and all, but the problem with this proposition is that Republicans have made it absolutely, crystal clear that there is no one in their party who is amenable to being "worked with," on anything. it's a non-starter.
  23. Anyone in either party who is not advocating for Trump to be immediately removed from office is part of the problem.
  24. "That person did not say she hated people with black skin, she could have been referring to people who wear black clothes, or drive black cars." -Texashammer
