  1. I know people, and I watched the state title game. No link and no time to dig one up for you.
  2. Dropped it right on the QB’s forehead.
  3. There is zero character risk with this kid. None. But basketball, position and growth are all uncertain.
  4. Re: Crownover: Honestly, he could end up at OT, which would explain our lack of pursuit. He’s a legit 6’7”, and extremely athletic. His dad was a DT at Baylor in the 80s, but is not pushing him to any school. He has other athletes in his family. His older brother plays at West Point. He comes from a VERY HIGH CHARACTER family, and would be a perfect culture fit. I’d love to take him, but it’s probably tough to project his final position. There’s also a chance he could outgrow football, like Feathertree. His grandfather was 7’ tall. He loves football, though, and that’s what he wants to play. Hes still a little raw. You can watch him in the state title game. He had a huge sack and he caught the winning TD.
  5. Fong is usually money, but USC has always made me uneasy. LA being like a second home. Reggie Bush being his hero. I’ve always thought the USC option flew under the radar. CTJ’s confidence comforts me a little, though.
  6. His ability to eat everything includes your phone’s battery. Unfollow.
  7. The compromise, ala Eric Winston, perhaps?
  8. With 6:20 left in the game, we had a 10 play drive, running the ball 8 of 10 times. The final 7 plays were all runs. Two of those runs were victory formation, kneel-down losses of two yards each. The five plays before the two kneel downs were all runs for a total of 28 yards. We did what the fuck we wanted.
  9. Watch the tape, mother fucker. How does anyone kill 7 minutes?
  10. And you’ll be making excuses for your statuesque QB as he fishes his helmet out of his ass hole come September. Herman stopped throwing the ball because he had a lead. It’s what he does. No need to risk turnovers or big plays. When he did that, KSU stacked the box. It wasn’t pretty, but it won the game.
  11. And we finished the game with a 7-minute drive, running the ball at will. KSU couldn’t get the ball back. Herman did what he wanted and we won.
  12. There was no joke. I was being serious. You had mentioned somewhere that you get more excited about special teams players than most. I was also assuming that it was a PWO invitation.
  13. CTJ will be gruntled.
  14. Jalen Milroe killed 50 men; 50, if it was one.
  15. Who’s not a fan of Titis?
  16. Sounds like a hell of a guy.
  17. Yeah, he sounded way more enamored with the SEC schools he mentioned. How far behind Bama are we with the facilities? Those quotes make Bama’s facilities sound other-worldly.
  18. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought Carson was a little light and needed to put on some weight. If so, he and Sweat are in two different situations.
  19. I think 30 lbs in two months is doable. It won’t be pure muscle, but it’s doable. And if you’ll notice, this conversation has taken many turns. I was responding to the bot’s post about Sweat weighing closer to 280 last fall. I’m saying 280 to 320 in 6-8 months is very doable. We on the same page?
  20. Where would Thompson put us in the rankings?
  21. 30-40 lbs since last fall is doable without PEDs. My brother hit his growth spurt in the spring of his freshman year playing for a top-10 FBS team and went from 200 to 235 in a semester. I’m 99% certain he wasn’t juicing.
  22. Not bad. Kinda lumbers when he runs, but he runs hard. Good patience. Not much wiggle, but seems to have a good feel for where the holes and cut-back lanes will be. I liked the highlights, but I’m sure there are others who may have different opinions.
