I’m thinking we had three signees, so Drayton posted three sets of eyeballs. That’s it.

I’ve been up there in September and it was beautiful. That’s when we’d be playing them, so there’s a chance.

This whole thing reminded me of the opening scene from The Office when Dwight started a fire to test the emergency preparedness of his coworkers.

I hope that pic was from his first day on campus. Surely it was. I had high hopes for him coming out of high school. My bad.

“Let’s get active”? Sounds like an aerobics instructor at Sun City. That said, I’m glad he’s coming back.

Fuck the whole city of Killeen, how about that? (Go Dogs) But seriously, Killeen is the worst city in Central Texas. Paging @Tex Pete.

Yes, I’m pretty sure that happened. Then someone climbed on top and we stopped rocking it and started climbing.

Another poster on here and I were at that game. The usually humble and friendly Husker fans were cocky and dismissive before the game. Then they were either salty or utterly demoralized afterwards. I think they dropped at least four passes that game. The papers the next morning were hilarious. The writers had given up on ever being able to beat us and were content to go to their new conference as our forever bitches.

I think we just climbed on top of it. Didn’t flip it.

Especially as long as you don’t run that same blitz multiple times a game.

Not necessarily. It frees up a lot of zone coverages with the ability to disguise pressure. It allows the defense to get pressure with 4 (or even 3) because you never know where the pressure is coming from or who’s dropping into coverage.

We need more pass rushing OLB/DE types. Collins can play inside if he needs to. He has tons of room on his frame for growth. We definitely have more beef than we’ll need end not enough speed on the edges. Collins is pretty athletic, but I don’t know if he’s built to handle the OLB duties. Of course, there’s always the possibility that K is flexible enough to maximize the talent he has. I’d assume Sark vetted that. You always want to coach to your talent. Right now, we have lots of talent up front and very little at LB.

I think the thinking is that we will have only two or three true DL and 3-4 LB on the field most of the time. DEs in a 4-3 are essentially replaced by OLB in modern defenses. Coach K has been known to run 2-4-5 packages, so there’s a need for OLB and ILB coaches. Just look at the OLB coach as a DE coach.
