  1. Did Joe Buck really just say "Tua took over?" What game was/is he watching?
  2. Pretty bad when that was probably Tua's best throw of the night.
  3. Did any of those guys really get a lot of rope? Spurrier went 9-2, 10-2, 9-4, 11-2 his first four years at Florida. Holtz won a national title his third year at Notre Dame. Stoops won a national title his second year at OUsucks. Dabo tanked his third year, was given one chance to turn it around, then went 10-4 and 11-2 the next two years. Every single one of those coaches got the rope because they won consistently from the beginning. It wasn't a situation where universities took a chance on keeping them after they shit the bed for more than one season at the start.
  4. Good. Don't give Chicago management any reason to keep Nagy employed and further ruin the careers of Montgomery, Fields, and pretty much the entire Chicago offense. Pittsburgh might sneak into the playoffs but isn't going anywhere with Big Ben's corpse as qb.
  5. At this point, the optics look worse for Ruggs IMO. Victim in Stallworth's case was sprinting across the street absent any crosswalk. Brent's passenger was also drunk and not wearing a seat belt. Neither poor decision making excuses Stallworth or Brent, but we have no reports that the victim in Ruggs case was doing anything wrong or dangerous.
  6. KC "dynasty" going to shit faster than Seattle's.
  7. Another shootout in the Big-12....I mean SEC.
  8. Exactly. Those shitty offenses likely would've exceeded 14 total plays in the 3rd OT alone under the old rules.
  9. KC well on its way to following the Seattle "dynasty" trajectory. SB Champs --> SB Runner-up --> perennial playoff team with franchise/generational qb.
  10. So much for the battle royales in the AFC/NFC West. Looking like a two-team race in both divisions now with Wilson out for an extended period and the Raiders/Broncos turning back into pumpkins.
  11. I guess when you've already given up 40 points, odds are you aren't stopping them from getting 3 more yards in 3 plays.
  12. Nice recovery by the Chargers after that missed extra point. Hold Cleveland to a 3-and-out, then drive down the field, get the TD to take the lead.
  13. Florida already gave Saban the ammo he needed to keep them from overlooking anyone.
  14. But did they make any pro-Brexit remarks while they were attacking and tossing around racial slurs? Because that would be crossing the line.🙄
  15. I must have missed the part where San Antonio and Toronto have improved since his departure. Fuck Kawhi for screwing over the Spurs, but this isn't close to Ewing Theory territory.
  16. Feels like we missed out to completely make fun of the pick with Greg Paulus not getting the nod. Dude was completely overrated the whole time at Duke as a player, would have been fun to continue that trend as a coach.
  17. Disagree about saying they absolutely play all games over 4 years. Player health reliability has always been, and will continue to be a huge issue. A big part of LeBron potentially being the top pick is because he can stay on the court vs guys like Kyrie, KD, or AD. Those guys manage to keep getting dinged up, and that should absolutely factor into this type of decision.
  18. Pretty much this. The 1995 Mortal Kombat worked/works because it didn't take itself seriously at all. This movie felt like they were trying too hard to flesh out he characters while playing up the ridiculous violence and ninja stuff. That worked with Sub-Zero and Scorpion, and failed everywhere else, especially with the random Cole Young character...who of course they focused a bunch of the movie on. At least the Sub-Zero actor is signed for four films if this reboot works. More Sub-Zero fighting Scorpion, kill off Cole Young post haste.
  19. Half of Surly would love to be in that position, especially around the holidays. We'd be begging the county to give an excuse not to see family.
  20. And the best play they could come up with was the patented give it to your preferred player who dribbles around the perimeter, then hoists up a desperation, contested 3-pointer as time expires, utilized by shitty NBA coaches on a daily basis.
  21. All I remember from that year is that JJ Redick and Adam Morrison were the top contenders for the Naismith. Not a great year for bball.
  22. And Oral Roberts' coach has more wins over tOSU than Jim Harbaugh.
  23. Hill has no interest in hitting back when it's not a woman or child.
  24. That's easy, Super Mario Bros. from 1993.
