  1. CSU seems to always be a tough game for CU. Of course, CU also seems to always field a dogshit football squad.
  2. I think it's always been that you can't count more than 1 FCS win.
  3. I see this as unlikely, but possible in 2024. Anything over 3 wins in 2023 would make Deion a much better coach than I believe him to be.
  4. I think that if there is a rule change so that all nonconference games must either be on a neutral field or home-and-home arrangements, most P5 schools would start only scheduling other P5 schools. It's probably the simplest, most fair solution.
  5. FCS games are always home games. It's about ticket sales and revenue to local businesses.
  6. The games would get about as much tv coverage as FCS football.
  7. I don't think they finish top 4 in the big 12. Kind of hard to not put a team that played in the NCG into the top 25, though.
  8. She didn't know the longhorns were UT, though. The old lady got West Virginia, but she called them the Volunteers.
  9. Community AAU College
  10. The Big 12 did it out of self-preservation, though. They really didn't want to add those nerds.
  11. Cal and Stanford probably should go FCS.
  12. The series is 5-5 over the last 10 games.
  13. If I had to choose a rival for them, I'd choose Northwestern. They both have an N on their helmet and put similar products on the football field.
  14. Yeah. I feel for Oregon State and Washington State. Cal and Stanford can get fucked, though.
  15. The format with 4 pods works. It lets you keep a few regional schools to play every year, plus another pod in a round robin. Winner of that round robin goes to the championship game. Rotate pods every 2 years. You might as well not even have a league at all if you can't come up with a decent way of determining a champion on the field.
  16. We are moving toward 20 team conferences. If there isn't any sort of divisional structure, we are going to have to go with polls and mythical conference champions to set the title game matchups.
  17. No, just get rid of them. They don't really serve any purpose. It just makes it easier for some schools to win titles and more difficult for others. If a rivalry is important enough, the schools can be put into the same pod or division or whatever. Makes no sense to give A&M the Vanderbilt matchup that Alabama doesn't get because they have to play Tennessee every year.
  18. Yeah, protected rivalries shouldn't be a thing.
  19. I'm expecting Kansas State and Utah to be at the top for as long as Klieman/Whittingham keep coaching.
  20. It's not at all arguable that OU and UT are doing anyone a favor by leaving. It's probably true that Nebraska and A&M did everyone a favor, though. The have nots have used equal revenue sharing to make big strides with facilities, and it really shows when you look at competitiveness on the field.
  21. Cal and Stanford probably aren't even in the ballpark of the rest of the PAC schools when it comes to crop judging. Just worthless academically...
  22. Dining rooms, obviously.
  23. Yeah. I have no idea if it will work or not, but at least it's a plan that makes sense.
