Jimbo Fisher has jolted Texas A&M away from Kevin Sumlin’s up-tempo spread to a multifaceted, pro-style attack.

I've barely watched atm play this year but I'm pretty sure what they have is not a "multifaceted pro-style attack"

those who wish to pass herdandez' transgressions off as merely bad behavior are missing the point completely.  the fact that he was damaged goods is really the story here.  whatever, he had no place in society and had to be put away for the rest of his natural life.

now, the danger here is people pointing the bad boy finger at him.

Quit euphemizing. He murdered someone. Treat him like an adult that is responsible for his own actions.

Hernandez being sentenced and his enablers facing consequences are not mutually exclusive.

I'm glad he went to prison - because it's independent of anything in his background. He took someone's life and his life was taken as a result. That is the world we live in.

You sure about that?  I could see them using up the last weekend in September as opening weekend so they can skip OU weekend altogether.  I think they are also tiring of these October deluges.  Either way though, finally won't have to mix a home game and ACL together.

They don't have it in September anymore. Too hot/potentially dangerous. Rain is rain.

You don't know Michigan. Even if Harbaugh loses to MSU, PSU, and OSU this year he'll still get a fifth year. RichRod forced them to admit their mistake and fire him after three years because they couldn't afford to give him another year to decimate recruiting. That was atypical. Even firing Hoke after four years was still unusual for UM.

Back in the day most schools gave a new coach five years. You figured his first recruiting class might be weak so you let him coach his second class though their senior season then see where you stand. (Hell, look how long of a leash OSU gave John Cooper.)

Harbaugh is a Michigan Man. They brought out all the big guns including a bunch of his former teammates and other star players like Tom Brady to recruit him back to Ann Arbor. It would take extraordinary circumstances for them not to give him at least five years. Michigan is still pretty stodgy and old school. And without an obvious slam dunk replacement they're going to give Harbaugh plenty of time.

And they wonder why they don't compete for titles regularly...

I'm always worried about The Game.

Why? Shit is about as lopsided as you can get for any rivalry.

Jesus. I didn't realize how badly tOSU owns them since 2000. And there have been plenty of 10 win Michigan teams since then.

I can't believe people still consider that the "best rivalry" in cfb.

I agree, but it’s at the River Oaks home of somebody you’ve heard of. I’m not going to miss it.

And no, he doesn’t own a Sherman tank.

Glad you didn't mention the name. I was going to drive around River Oaks until I found the party.

Daniel Young played well against Mizzu..... Now in 2018 he looks worse so far.  Why hasn't Young or Toneil developed more.... that's the RB Coach's Job....

Drayton has yet to show any ability to develop TEXAS RBs since the best two RBs are a Grad Transfer and a True Freshman.

You're either a good back or you aren't. You take the ball and you run as far as you can with it. What nuance is there?

    What's your point?

That you have no room to talk about series records because the only wins you've been able to scratch out are the best years in your program's history vs. some of our worst - and despite that you still almost lose to us every single year to the degree that officiating handed you a win against a fucking terrible Texas team you should have smacked.

You're lucky to even be 6-2 since '09. You're like 3 plays away from being 3-5.

Absolutely.  I remember being in the stadium during that game-- the atmosphere in the second half was absolutely electric.  Haven't experienced anything quite like that since (although the first half of our game against Mizzou in 2008 comes close).

Mack actually wrote 42-35 on the board in the locker room at halftime of the 2004 OkSt game.  In a postgame interview, he said he regretted not giving his team more credit when he suggested they would only score 42.

Haha thanks. I knew it was less than we ended up with.
