You're probably right. Like I said, I don't use a recipe. I just add cumin till it tastes right. It's probably more.
It's my favorite spice. I had to say something. Works on chicken, pork, beef, white fish - just beautiful.

(and a fourth in UCF that claims one and while laughable they were still a good team that year).
I don't think it's laughable. It's a fuck you to the playoff committee and playoffs in general for not including more teams. They didn't go undefeated through any fault of their own - just like Utah in 2011 (do I have the year right?).
You can only play the games in front of you.

but a well-respected player and mentor.
Mark Jackson is a bigger piece of shit than Karl. He's an immature, self-zealous, adultering crybaby that has never gotten over getting canned by the Warriors. He uses his status and religious leadership to inflate his self-worth because he never won anything in his career and it keeps him up at night.

a teaspoon of cumin
Your cumin game needs work son.
i.e. tomatillos and hatch chiles are full of acid. It's hard to overdo the cumin in a stew like that.

He should stop attempting to be liked and embrace the villain role, he's perfect for it. P.Reed sucks at being the villain although winning the Masters makes him forever part of that team, his documented history & wife only cements it but there is nothing fun about watching him play.
Bryson and Jordan are the two best guys to watch on Tour IMO. You just can't predict what they'll do, here's JS card from yesterday.
I've never got the vibe that he "wants to be liked" or that he's insecure. He's just kind of a self-absorbed diva.
And he's isn't a cheating piece of shit like Reed. He asked to improve his lie on that hole a few weeks ago but I feel like it's because he's competitive to a fault.
Obviously I'm biased, though. I went to school with him. (at least I was there when he was - i didn't know him or have any stories. We brushed shoulders a couple times)

Just watched the highlights. Khudobin seemed pretty good after he settled in. Obviously we won't be able to allow the Avs to put 3 in the net in the first period and keep a chance of winning any games - but he had some nice saves past that.
That 6th goal was disgusting.
Kind of feel bad for Talbot. He was just shattered after that 2nd goal.

All those excess deaths are actually CAUSED by the lockdowns created by the conspiracy between the fear porn media and totalitarian government. Those people didn’t die from C19, they died because they were isolated and afraid to seek medical attention.
I know this is probably a lost cause, but can we not go like 100% political in here? Just neg these idiots and move on.

Duggan had high expectations in year two after going 181 for 339 passing for 2,077 yards with 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions
Is... that good? To where you would have high expectations?
That sucks for him, though. One of those things that I wonder if he wishes they wouldn't have caught it - tough to say without knowing what it is. Probably a heart condition, right?

I know there are plenty of people like me that finally turned a corner. What happened for you? What clicked? I’ve been struggling to get there for awhile now and I feel like I haven’t made any progress. I feel like my faith has gotten worse as I’ve gotten older.
I went back and forth between wanting to die and being terrified of it. I decided that I wasn't going to jump, and that I wanted to quit digging, so I did.
That was how it clicked for me, but I'm not religious or a practicing Christian, and I'm not sure you have to reach a point of desperation to change your outlook (but it can make it easier). I just try and have faith that things will be okay and that in the grand scheme of things my problems are insignificant, so there's no point in worrying about what is going to happen. Part of that too is a pretty high tolerance for what other people choose to beleive in. I don't beleive in hell, but if that belief helps people live a better, happier life then it isn't my place to judge.
Now, surrounding this was a relationship with drugs and alcohol that I had to end. I won't get into that because it doesn't seem topical, but there's a lot of good discussion on the alcoholic thread. You can pretty much come ask anything you want there. We're good at talking about ourselves and telling people what to do. (a little self-derision there)

Was Jesus a European name? Or Middle Eastern? Where were the people who named a kid Jesus from?
Hebrew
John is also Hebrew. Luke is Latin. Paul is Latin.
(I mean obviously these names have been translated and spelled differently in different languages over the years - but their roots go back just as far or farther than the time of Christ)

When did they change the names of the guys named Luke, John, Paul, etc? You think those were the names of the guys who wrote those books?
Yes?
If they sound strange to you and not archaic enough it's because we've been using the same fucking names for 2,000 years.

First team to ever be down by 3 goals and be up by 4 goals in the same playoff game.
Honestly not surprising at all. We did it with the least amount of goals scored possible. And not many playoff games have 10 goals scored, let alone 7 by one team all without an answer.

You’re right that the batter and on deck batter matter.
If I were sending a weak hitter to the plate, I’d bunt. I guess the defense would combat a successful sacrifice with two intentional walks.
The few games I’ve seen go extras this year haven’t used my strategy (that I read on this board and instantly agreed with) but I’m sure it’s been proven to work a different way.I mean I kind of agree too, unless it's like the worst guy in their lineup. If Machado or Trout or whoever is leading off it seems like you would walk them to try and have the next batter hit into a double play - or at least force the runner out that started on 2nd.
Baseball is so rooted in tradition, though. I mean the game has been around 150 years and we're JUST now seeing defenses on every team use cards to shift on each batter.
11 minutes ago, Greg Davis Apologist said:We’re fucking terrible and I should have my head examined for continuing to follow this team
Well yeah, then there's that. Unfortunately we aren't so shit pitiful to where they don't give us glimmers of hope. And we aren't yet a despondent, miserable enough fan base to not beleive that we can't scratch out a few wins in the playoffs. It's kind of like watching Texas football, come to think of it. This team made the WS 9 years ago.
God that was a rough series. Maybe we can get hot again in Seattle.

This series is borderline unwatchable. I've seen better AAU games.
