Live in the world of data, not feelings.  Our starting QB is coming off a shoulder injury and may not play.  His backup didn't look as good, and means some of the power in power spread is deleted, plus  our starting corners are out for the first quarter and OSU has big talented receivers.  On top of this, teams have figured out how to exploit the lack of athleticism at a couple of positions in our back 7.  OSU and their coaches are getting shit on in the media and around campus, so they have a chip on their shoulder.  Plus they want to take advantage of the night home crowd and Texas ranking to create supposedly-illusory-but-very-real momentum.  Justice Hill is really good and our LB's haven't been so hot in the last couple of games.

We're also 6-1 having won 6 straight and currently ranked as the 6th best team in the country with what is pretty clearly the best defense in the B12.

I could write a treatise on all of the matchup problems OSU is going to have on Saturday - let alone issues with playing decent football consistently or knowing how to win games against good opponents.

"I'm a big A&M guy. I don't know, what in the world how Mississippi State (is favored) other than they are at home. I have no idea," Herbstreit said. "That's another offense that is one dimensional, they can't throw the ball. A&M plays big-boy defense, they will take away your strength and make you go to your pass game. Kellen Mond and the receivers and Trayveon Williams, there is a lot to like about A&M. A&M may not lose another game the rest of the year. They are an underdog this week in Starkville. I like the money line there, isn't that what it's called? The money line for A&M to win outright."

"oooooh I don't know what a money line is. Is that what it's called? I've never gambled and go to church every Sunday."

He played poorly in the UMD game and got passed up by Cook as the first CB sub. He's supposed to be technically solid but really skinny.

Awesome. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Why are we getting within 1 game of burning his RS? Are we that thin at corner?

So disappointing that we're 6-1, Omenihu is putting up gaudy stats in a tough role, KBoyd is a Thorpe semifinalist, and Nelson is near-Poona good with a dope celebration to match.

Can't leave out Hager who is mixing in just the right amount of batshit insanity for a contending college football team.

He probably writes them out each time because he gets off to the sounds made by producing letters on a screen.

There's just something so hypocritically great about spending a paragraph to insult someone about their lack of contribution to the board.

Rude Dawg is none other than Daniel Figurelli (Daniel Joseph), the racist aggy dipshit who was fired from the internship program with Price Waterhouse or KPMG once his racist tirades made it into the public.

Seriously doubt that fuckstick got an internship at PWC.

Also, yeah, the University of Texas is going to sue Cory Redding over his barbershop logo. /s

It dawned on me in reading this post, after seeing that you've attempted to interact with me on yet another thread, that I can't figure out why I don't just have you on ignore. You're not witty, intelligent, insightful, timely, challenging or entertaining. You're just like ball sweat - kind of always there yet not meaningful enough to give a fuck about, just something better off neverminded.

Do you even write these anymore or do you just have them pasted on a word doc? You say the same shit over and over again.

Texas has a 7% chance of winning out and a 15% chance of the CFP, but if we do win out the CFP odds go to 97%.  Oddity is that OU has a greater chance of making the playoffs (30%) than they do of winning out (24%).

None of this makes any fucking sense.

Speaking of drinking, not sure you guys know or not but our retarded-ass booze laws finally changed on Oct. 1.  So you can now get cold high-point beer in grocery stores, liquor stores, etc., in Oklahoma. And the big macro-brews (Coors, Bud, etc.) are no longer 3.2 abv... they are 4.2 or whatever they are everywhere else.

And oh yeah - we are also selling beer in the stadium.

This will be noted in your state's favor yet it does not absolve your state of past transgressions.

People get paid to write articles that consist primarily of embedded tweets. What a time to be alive.

And don't even do a good job. UT was #7 last week - not #9.

Also, not really sure what is worth getting mad about here. Mack said we aren't there yet where we can just show up and win and I agree with him. I don't agree that OU has anything resembling an inside track to the playoff but we're talking about people getting paid to disagree with each other here.

Since when is Phil Steele a senile nutjob?

This is like making up rules in monopoly to make your developmentally challenged cousin feel special.

Someone claimed the first play the aggys ever ran on offense in their first game ever (October 20, 1894 against UT) was a fumble that was recovered by Texas and returned for a touchdown. I haven't been able to confirm that, but I can confirm in that first ever aggy game, their team simply quit at halftime and asked that the second half be called off.

    a&m first football game

So many things to love here. I wish we could bring back "the varsity" as a nickname for the team. I always thought that was cool.

Also the 1:1 ratio at a football game at the turn of the century. I'm pretty sure women weren't allowed to watch atm games in person until the 1980s.
