I would take Mond over Ehlinger any day of the week.

This is like saying you'd take a hand-job from a steel mill worker over wet, hot sex with Halle Berry.

Sounds like a decision aggy would make.

    Kansas, bro.  Kansas.

Not even. Kansas at least got Charlie fired and that team was shit to begin with.

We were good in 2013 (good enough to compete for the Big 12) and giving up 550 on the ground was the nail in the coffin of... oh fuck we need to clean house don't we.

3 wasted years later and another rebuild year and here we are...

  3. Also love these still-butt-hurt mouth-breathers putting SMU below Incarnate Word and Sam Houston State like anyone at SMU gives one fuck about aggy. Sorry Eric Dickerson isn't a backwoods hillbilly fuck that wanted to go plod around CS for a blank check.

Would love to see your trash ass secondary on a neutral field.

aggy went toe to toe with Bama and only came up 22 points short.  Your wins don't matter...it's who you lose to that really tells how great you are.

Bama? He's talking about Kentucky you stupid sip.

SIAP — but I still am dying laughing at “Jimbo’s signature win” over a KY team that the aggys were favored to win in the first place. Yep. $75 million for a win  against the mighty KY team.  Also have you seen, aggy is the underdog (Vegas bookmakers) in their next 3 games.

    Click clack.

And the most aggy thing ever of all you have to do is run the fucking clock out and you fumble the ball and give up a DTD and get taken into OT

I’ve never heard the aggys explain when this supposed magical transformation of aggy hospitality occurred. I remember the 2011 game and they certainly weren’t gracious individuals then. I’m sure few will challenge whether I can post a long list of newspapers accounts from years past when the ags were hands-down the worst sports in the conference, regardless of their conference affiliation.

i think they realized how thrilled B12 schools were to be done with them and they decided to create their false narrative of being hospitable little rednecks.

Of the roughly 400 NCAA programs at various levels, I can’t think of a program (other than aggy, of course) where visiting fans instantly fawn all over the home team’s fans and culture to the point of instantly being compelled to compose a missive expressing their amazement and appreciation.

It shows the aggy mentality that they don’t realize how transparent all this is.

Asked my dad over the weekend if he's ever been to Kyle Field. He said he's gone to one game - the bonfire game. Didn't say one word about the experience. The ONE game where it would be somewhat acceptable for him to say "You know it really was something else. Both fans were together in emotional unison the entire game."

I bet he wanted us to beat the dog piss out of atm that day.

I said it a few pages back but a lot of people that post here can't be happy and must be the most miserable people in real life as I have no other explanation for those that find something to bitch about after a win let alone a W vs. OU.

Sure a couple of players were out of position and some bad play calls were made on O and D but holy shit THAT is what people choose to focus on?

OU is good. Their QB is good. Their receivers are good. They are well conditioned. It is tough to hang with them for 4 quarters.

As much as I'd love to see them fall from here, OU is probably a 2 or 3 loss team this season.

Where we looked weak at times was our pass rush and our containment at the second level. Which I would say is the weak spot of our defense, and playing against a fast team with the best OLine we'll see all year.

We should have blown them out but damn... this team is young to be doing anything like blowing top 10 OU out - let alone getting the win.

I'll fucking take it and let's beat Baylor by 50.

Such an avid fan, he makes to see his favorite team play in the most remote and primitive locales. But 30 seconds into a game at Kyle Field and he abandons his lifelong loyalty to his team and becomes one with the ags. And gracious in defeat.

The sad thing is an entire subculture, living mostly in Texas, is so naive they actually believe this bullshit. Think back to the last time Texas played in College Station and remember how "gracious" the aggys fans were.

Primitive cultures are fascinating to study.

Being pound for pound stronger isn’t what he said.

Right. It's what I said. Because that's what matters in the NFL. You can't teach height, but you don't need height to be a brick of a football player.

LJH having a few inches and pounds on Nuk doesn't mean shit.

    OBJ - 5'11"

    AB - 5'10"

    Tyreek - 5'10"

    Brandin Cooks (LA1) - 5'11"

    Robert Woods (LA2) - 6'0"

    Desean Jackson - 5'10"

  10. Through 6 games:

    Ehlinger (5-1) 2018 - 1,499 on 65.3% - 11 TDs 2 INTs - 268 rushing with 6 TDs

    Tebow (4-2) 2007 - 1,455 on 65.5% -13 TDs 3 INTs - 500 rushing with 9 TDs

Sam is Tim Tebow. Probably not as good of a runner, could potentially turn into a better pocket passer.

I don't have a problem with that. Tebow won a Heisman and a natty.

We’ve lost the last 3 years.

2 of those losses were Charlie losses, one of which was bullshit, and all 3 were matchups with osu being ranked and Texas not. We could have beat them last year.

Historically, when Texas is ranked, we fucking own them. We won 12 straight from 99-10.

We’re No. 36 in the nation in scoring margin (8 PPG), a stat that hopefully is about to improve.

Scoring margin is silly considering we haven't run up the score all year. Wins are wins - especially against our slate.

OK St. TT. WV & ISU all are 50/50 games at this point.

Do you mean ATS? We will be favored against all of those teams.

Reminder that we fucking own Okie Lite and have WVU and ISU at home. I don't think this team loses a game at home. @Tech is the most worrisome of those 4 games imo, depending on how good WVU actually is.

Colin Johnson and Lil Jordan Humphrey are bigger and faster than Deandre Hopkins.

    Oh Christ.

First of all I doubt they are faster. Even if they are in a straight line, neither of them are as explosive or quick as Nuk.

To add to that, Deandre has elite ball skills, route running, and pound for pound is clearly stronger than either of them.

Hopkins is one of the best receivers in NFL history. pump the brakes.

This. When he has nothing left to win that he considers important to him, such as a shot at the CFB playoffs, a heisman (who knows if he values a conference championship) we’ll see if he bails. That plus he will probably be getting some “advice” via his baseball contacts/agent. One more loss will probably do it.

He already played like a vagina against UT. I've never seen an OU QB look that afraid of contact. He makes Sam Bradford look like Cam Newton.

  16. There is nothing wrong with being overrated in CFB and never has been. Until we have a 16 or 32 team playoff you HAVE to play to the media.

The fact that we are already in the top 10 with half the season to play bodes EXTREMELY well for any playoff dreams we may have.

It pretty much tells us that a one-loss Texas team will be hard to keep out of the top 4.
