  1. As in there are more good looking people with money in SF and LA and they’re not as passionate of fans?
  2. HVL looked bangin on draft night. Sheesh. Gonna go with she found out Chicago wanted to draft her at 11 before the Empire State Building pic and she was pissed about having to play with Angel again.
  3. Either way I see the Wolves winning at least 1 series: - Clips win and I see Wolves beating the Lakers first round - Warriors win and it’s practically a foregone conclusion Wolves beat the Nuggets first round
  4. Sounds like the big should drop this weekend in Traore if insider statements are true.
  5. Maybe turn down the LeBron circus for Jokic?
  6. Would be through the roof if this were to happen. Going after Hurley prior to a GM to me would indicate we plan on giving Hurley more say over roster management than not.
  7. I’ve been thinking 1 or 2 of MPJ, Murray and AG are gone. I love AG, he’s Mr Nugget, but to me he has the highest trade value of the 3 and he’s maybe actually not the best natural fit alongside Jokic, as much as it pains me to say. I wear the guys jersey to some games. I’ll just say 2 years ago I wanted bad for Denver to trade for Obi Anonoby when he was on the Raptors and ship MPJ there and I still stand by it.
  8. This is exactly it. I avoided the thread because I was in a dark place Tuesday with my buddy who I go to a lot of games with. Firing Malone is admitting that our current set of stars and bench won’t work, at least to me. I really can’t believe we gave Murray the contract we did with how bad he played at the Olympics. I don’t think we get anywhere close to value on getting rid of him. To Derka’s point about not caring about winning enough with ownership I completely agree. So pissed that last year we weren’t willing to go over the second apron.
  9. Also Pickett actually looked pretty damn awesome. He doesn’t turn the ball over (leads the team in A/TO), he shot well, he played alongside Jokic and CB well. I mean we definitely want Murray back for the playoffs, but maybe Pickett helps stagger Murray when Jokic is out and we’re not as terrible then.
  10. Sucks to lose but pretty neat deal to be there. We looked like we belonged up until Booker getting in foul trouble.
  11. I mean that was a foul. Defender went straight up but hit arm.
  12. Haha. All in on Chris Beard only to land Billy McMillan. Awesome.
  13. She cute, but Jordana Codio has my heart
  14. Just gonna come out and say it Oldacre is my favorite player. She big guh and goes hard in the paint.
  15. Seems like a great replacement for Pryor. It’s weird because he played 20 mins a game and shot at a high %. Maybe he’ll get the green light here.
  16. If this guy is to be trusted: https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/info/rookie_scale/2026 and say Tre was getting guidance that he’d be picked in the 15-20 range, then his max salary for first season NBA is a bit above $4.5 mil for next year if he got drafted at 15. I know fuck all about the upcoming talent in following year’s draft class other than Dybantsa, but there’s an ocean between pick 5 max salary and 15 max salary if he was given guidance to work on X, Y and Z to get drafted in top 5-7 the following year. Probably wasted effort to even think about it being a possibility, but whatever. I’m still bitter over Tre’s wasted year.
  17. What if we do have the funds and plan to pay Tre for one more season which is why we didn’t think Conwell was worth it and potentially others we’ve been in the running for but haven’t reeled in.
  18. Was Mark the PG Gerry was alluding to? Is it subpar shooter George?
  19. Is there any chance in hell that this mystery PG is on a Final Four team? Or is it more likely that this mystery PG “transfer” is Mark returning?
  20. This is exactly it. Last year played starters too hard through the season for the 1 seed, didn’t get it on tie breaker and didn’t have enough for the playoffs. I don’t think the result will be much different this year, but Malone was criticized a lot here last year for playing starters too much. We’ll agree to disagree on “atrocious.” Atrocious is losing to a winless team on the road in conference when that one game keeps you out of having to play in the first four. It isn’t losing to your division rival who made the WCF last year (over you) with 2 of your starters sitting out.
