I feel like we're getting Messingham'd.
Sort of the higher-end version of Missouri State floating Briles so Petrino looks ok.
Yurcich is a good OC hire regardless of the 9.95ers trolling & scaring the fanbase with a potential Courtney Messinham as OC hire.

Is Fuente a HUNH or more of a take your time type offense? Don't think I've seen 1 Va. Tech game since he's been the coach.
I believe Fuentes ran a pro-spread when he was TCU's OC.

How long before they turn on ole Ed with no Brady or Burrow. I give it three years max and he's out.
Not going to happen! LSU's biggest problem the entire 2010's was their uninspiring pro-style offenses. With the success they had this season, their not going make the same OC hire mistakes that Les Miles & Ed Orgeron made in the past. Their going to moneywhip a spread OC.

Makes sense. It never made sense that Joe Brady would remain as a non-playcalling PGC/WR coach when he has offers for playcalling OC at other big programs & NFL teams.

He calls what Brady tells him to call.I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

After the success they just had this season. I expect LSU to moneywhip a spread OC

If we're to believe that the TE coach hire will happen after NSD2, all that leaves is the DT coach position. Hope Okam is announced before Friday!

1 minute ago, texasstrong12 said:When is it "settled"?
There was a poster in this thread yesterday or last night, that said David Beatty will be announced as TE Coach after he settlement with KU is resolved. That post made me think back to the fact that OB or Horns247 previously mentioned last week that TE Coach hire will not happen until after NSD2. So a David Beatty hire as TE coach makes sense as a good guess.

My dreams of a tarmac firing after LSU are alive and well

Man we still don't know if LSU's success this season is really just about Joe Brady lucking into the right experienced senior QB. I'm willing to bet UT's offense will be better than LSU's next season.

Only 4 players left former the CS era.
Okafor - .9045
Brown - .8767
Imade - .8519
Duvernay - .8478
You have to think that Jaquess and Brockermeyer are keeping their scholarships, not sure about Hine. So that leaves us with 3 open scholarships without anymore attrition.
That list is incomplete imo. All the players from 2017 transition recruiting class who originally committed to Charlies Strong's staff also count too.

Herman is getting fired without a B12 Championship. We kicked the can down the road. It was either Shaka or Herman this year but not both.
3 hours ago, ClubWhatever said:This is a ridiculous categorical statement. So if he pulls a 2019 Baylor and goes 11-1 but then loses in the CCG he gets fired? Right.
3 hours ago, maninblack said:Baylor people like Rhule even though he's a drunk. Herman is universally hated.
I just don't buy it. If Herman goes 10-2 & loses the Big 12 title game, the ONLY way you can sell firing Herman is if UT is hiring a big fish like Urban Meyer or Nick Saban. That's it.

LMAO at folks in here talking nonsense about bringing in Joe Moorhead in as an analyst or position coach. Moorhead should have no problem getting a Power 5 OC job.

@satyanashYou got this?
15 hours ago, satyanash said:(Ian Boyd) The Mike Yurcich offense: Coming to Austin?
Based on that Ian Boyd article, looks like Yurich is gonna evolve the offense from ball-control power-spread/Greg Davis WCO Pro-spread to a vertical Smashmouth spread. Good!
