  1. Views are great from upper deck, sideline is better than endzone but the sun is a bitch if it is hot
  2. I have sat in a similar section quite a few times. If it's like the last couple years it's hot as shit; take a hat, sunscreen and shades. During halftime, I'd grab a beer and go sit in the 'Creative Arts' hall to get some air conditioning, but I'm on the wrong side of 40.
  3. I had these same exact seats last year, the one saving grace being at the top of the stadium is the wind made it bearable. Lot of sun but with a steady breeze. Take a hat and sunscreen
  4. From the seating map, I think 13-15 would be cheaper. They are Tier 3 tix where 31 is Tier 2 I think.
  5. Finally a sane person with gravy on the fucking side. wtf would you order with gravy on the CFS? Cause you like soggy CFS?
  6. I met that guy at a bar in Austin! He worked in IT at one of my customers. Was not his GF/Wife
  7. no shit, wow I never remembered beer in the game and I was there in 2019. I must have been wasted
  8. No alcohol in the game, take a flask. They do let you exit at half-time to slam beers and then re-enter.
  9. Do you just call the box office? How do you request this? I much prefer the paper tix
  10. You can add seatbacks anytime before the season
  11. I have sat in both areas, I prefer a corner view and that section looks be wide open. You could get an end of the row seat right next to the tunnel.
  12. I think for early games 11-12 we are in the sun for a little while but I seem to remember getting shade by halftime normally.
  13. I'm in Section 7 Row 59; your seats will likely almost always be in the shade.
  14. I know jack shit about baseball, it did look routine was it tough because of the angle of throw to first?
  15. whats the language around locking in seat donations? I have only had my seats for about 5 years and I always assumed prices would be going up eventually
  16. Could someone post a view into section 7? I don't get a shot at this until the 29th and I'd like to add one seat to my group of tickets
  17. Fat Pat 'Tops Drop' would be a jam, or maybe I'm just old
  18. Really interesting, between this interview and the Athletic article it looks like this all happened quickly over last weekend. Clearly Sark had other plans, had to be waiting on someone else that fell through last week and they went to plan B. Wonder if Quinn was Plan A
  19. Even though from the outside it looks like they have recruited well, they really haven't. In the Bama game, Sark really picked on CB #4 in the first half and he was a grad transfer from NC State. The fact that Sark prepared for Joseph's secondary two weeks before taking the Texas job and Joseph being one of the first coaches he offered is good enough for me. Based solely on his other hires, I'm going to trust his judgement until he gives us reason not to.
  20. no dipshit, luckily you don't make decisions for the university of texas. If we wanted the Jordan Brand we would have it. If it were up to dumbasses like you we'd be wearing black jerseys on halloween to 'Attract Recruits'
  21. that's a very simple way to look at it. There's alot of people who like drake but I wouldn't want him on our jerseys to attract recruits. The lack of another schools basketball player on their jerseys and gear doesn't seem to affect LSU, GA, or ALA; it's fucking stupid for any school other than UNC and it looks stupid. I don't give a shit if it gives us another four star...I'm good without it
  22. yeah that's the joke, they have a basketball player from another school on their football jerseys and shirts. Maybe when Trey Young signs with Anta they can normalize
  23. This is a special edition shirt Nike released for game
  24. I've met him, he works in IT at a company in Austin. The craziest part about that is he was married or had a girlfriend at the time and the girl on the hill with him was neither
