Didn't have too bad of a fever. Had the chills over the course of one night, where I was just shivering, but it passed. I started the elderberry and myricetin shortly after it began.

Cool, I had no idea what it was...  I thought it was some odd strain of the flu because I had never had a cough like that.  I thought I was going to break some ribs at day 4-5.  I have had the flu and it comes with a long fever.  I found all those natural virus inhibitors after the fact.  Glad they helped you.

Yeah. It felt like only the very top of my lungs were getting air and it sounded like a whistle when I would breathe. I usually have a robust immune system. I can't even remember the last time I had had a cold or flu.

My daughter had a 104 fever.  It was a little scary but we were able to get the fever down.  It kept coming back on my youngest son.  He had fevers off and on for 2 weeks.

Yes, my lungs would whistle at night as well.  It woke my wife up constantly.  She kept hitting me all night so little to no sleep.  She said it sounded like pneumonia but I didn't care.  I just wanted to sleep.

After reading the description of the symptoms from others that were tested and recovered, my symptoms were almost identical.

Yes, I did. Like nothing I'd experienced before. Dry rattle in my chest. Got better for a few days, then my lungs hurt for a few more, then slept 11 hours a day for three days, when I usually sleep 5. Better now.

I had the same thing.  The cough was bad.  Day 3-4 in the evening my lungs started wheezing badly but I recovered quickly after I let the fever run its course.

  4. Someone's trying to pull the wool over our eyes and it's not the first time.

"Jerri Jorgensen and I experienced the rapidly rising high fever for a few hours. Mark did not. I still have a cough. Jerri and Mark never had one. I have been ranking my illness a “two” on a one-to-ten scale. If I wasn’t contagious, I would have been at work the next day."

Luckily for 65-year-old Claudio, his case of the virus was also pretty mild. He's the mayor of a town in northern Italy, where that country's outbreak is worst.

Sounds like a cold to me.

It is possible that some of the Pac 12 could look to the Big 10 as well as the Big 12 for a better deal.

    In order:

USC, Oregon, UW, UA, ASU, UCLA.  Colorado tied the noose when they bailed on us.  B1G can have stanford and cal.  I would rather join $ec than assimilate pac schools.

  6. Just pull the easy lever and go to the sec.  Take ou along so that we can continue to play them in Dallas.  It would also be fun to see the meltdown in ag town as well as feyetnam.  Piggy won't like it either and the hilarity when we move in to run things will be epic.  PLEEEEEaaaase!

We bought a 1000 gallon cistern for water, but we had already planned to at some point and our context is probably somewhat unique.  We are on a private well that requires electricity.  We are on grid, but it’s not nearly as stable as in someplace like Austin.  We are at 11,000 feet and get 20+ feet a snow a year and have major storms through Memorial Day.   We often lose power due to weather and often for extended periods in the best of times.  If there is a workforce hit to people keeping roads open or able to service the grid up here, we might not be able to pump our well for a time.

If I was in a city that had good and redundant infrastructure, I wouldn’t have worried about water from this.

    I love well water.

This question comes up every few pages.

General consensus is that people are accustomed to buying water for other freakouts, so it's force of habit.

Or, that water is so cheap they can't afford not to but it.

Bottled water by the gallon is more expensive than gasoline.  I have never understood the need to buy bottled water.  If you don't like the taste, buy a filter, add ice or lemon.

    So about that.

Surgeon General of the United States of America won’t answer how many have been tested.   Won’t even give rough estimate.   Tells Tapper to ask the CDC, Tapper says CDC removed the numbers from their website,   Tells him to talk to the FDA.  Tapper points out the FDA number was not how many were tested, but how many tests were handed out.

    https://www.cnn.com/videos/health/2020/03/08/surgeon-general-jerome-adams-coronavirus-test-kits-us-jake-tapper-sotu-vpx.cnn/video/playlists/coronavirus/

    • Surgeon General says what’s important is that there are 75,000 tests available today
    • By tomorrow there will be 2 million tests available
    • by the end of the week, there will be 4 million tests available
    • No public health doctor who has asked for a test, has been unable to get one

    It’s like aggy football.

    • Reporter:  “You’re down 20 points in the first half, what are your plans for the second half?”
    •  Aggy: “Well, the important thing is that we scored 20 points, but even more important is that next week, we are going to score 65 points against Southwestern Louisiana Women’s Vocational College.”
    • Reporter: “But what are you going to be doing in 20 minutes in the second half?”
    • Aggy: “I done told you what we’re gonna do next week!”

At this point, no one wants the blame for incompetence. Best defense at this point is to not touch your face and wash your hands 1 time per hour... well at least while awake.  I posted some compounds earlier in the thread that are effective at blocking replication if you do get infected..^^^^^^  Look there.

There is also another which is extremely inexpensive that everyone can get today.  It's called Sinigrin.

    The study is posted here:

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16115693

It's found in broccoli, brussel sprouts, mustard greens, and mustard seeds(black).  I just picked a pound of mustard seeds up for $10.  I plan on having the family take a teaspoon a day once this really gets going.  Viola no need for hoarding toilet paper.  If by some chance you do get locked down and run out, shit in your neighbors yard and use his/her hose as a bidet.  Then rub your ass in his grass like a dog.  He'll give you some, trust me.

There are cheaper and easier options.  They all contain natural compounds that attach to the virus and block attachment and/or replication

    Bupleurum root extract

    Wild indigo root

    Isatis root extract

    Myricetin

    Houttuynia exract
