  1. Good for Evan for at least pointing that out and asking the question
  2. I don’t get this at all. 41%? Source:
  3. After watching Tennessee light UK up deep on Saturday, I can see why Sark may have started with that approach but should have figured out it wasn’t happening a lot quicker.
  4. That’s fair and I am not letting Sark completely off the hook. It’s why I hedged and said “on many of those plays” there’s an outlet. But I’m sure you can find several from each game like this one. It’s taken a group effort to get this dysfunctional. And there’s several where the outlet is there, Arch makes the throw, and Wingo drops the slant, etc.
  5. I don’t do all-22 analysis but I feel confident that on many of those plays there is at least one guy who is an outlet or hot read for the QB to get the ball out fast. We just haven’t hit enough of those to punish defenses for blitzing. Maybe Caldwell is an improvement in that respect?
  6. This will be Caldwell’s second career start against a P4 team so temper expectations accordingly despite two great one-off passes against UF and MSU. On the other hand, Joey Aguilar is tearing it up at Tennessee after one season at a Sun Belt school so maybe?
  7. Has anyone checked the Zestimate on the house Sam Cosmi grew up in?
  8. Seems like a real opportunity for teams that aren’t firing their coaches to get a comparative advantage by funneling that money into their rosters.
  9. Dang Hank, be careful out there
  10. Maybe it’s better if Arch sits next week out
  11. X-posting from the SEC thread on the football board:
  12. Probably not the last one:
  13. If we want to start huffing on the hopium with Caldwell, take a look at what Tennessee has been doing with a (late) offseason Sun Belt QB this year. Joey Aguilar arrived in Knoxville in May and has been at or near the top of all the SEC passing statistics this year.
  14. Yeah, that would be crazy
  15. Thanks for the work you put in on this. It’s interesting that this approach seems like the opposite of the conservative, run first and short passes “identity” that worked against OU. So we have two extremes that this team runs well and Sark just keeps searching for the sour spot in the middle.
  16. It’s ridiculous how much we struggled against this shit-ass Kentucky defense
  17. Caldwell called an audible on the TD
  18. I can’t like your post, but I agree with it. Unfortunately
  19. Kiffin would fit right in for the RRS
