  1. You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. 3 starters in one scrimmage? All on the same side of the ball?
  2. Yeah, would be a real shame if he got a freak temporary nerve injury in his throwing shoulder during the first series and they had to play their backup the rest of the way. Because that sounds like it would really suck, especially in a big game.
  3. Nahlin also made a comment on the State of the Program show about how Rivals only had Baxter as the #20 recruit in the state of Florida.
  4. But you would get to hear Gus Johnson shout that “Texas is back” at the top of his lungs, so there’s that.
  5. Payton Kirkland has really turned into a find for us. He just showed up out of nowhere and now he’s peer recruiting like Johntay
  6. I love how when he pulled out the cowboy hat, no one for a second thought he was picking aggy
  7. Still 12 days until the first day of class. Rush probably hasn’t even started yet.
  8. That sucks. When I was last in Austin earlier this year it was one of the few places on West Campus I still recognized, aside from some of the Greek houses
  9. After watching last year, I don’t think there’s any “maybe” about it.
  10. Interesting timing on that article. “Say Bret, where does this year’s Aggie class with all these elite recruiters stand in the rankings?”
  11. He would step right into that C4 Energy deal when Bijan goes to the NFL.
  12. My bad, thanks. That makes much more sense. Too many Irish guys on this team.
  13. Is Murphy being as good as Ojomo and Coburn that much of a hot take? At least Neyor should show them that some of their NIL money was well spent.
  14. Welcome aboard. You’re among friends.
  15. I think Tennessee is our primary competition with him. At least leading into his commitment next week. Depending on how the season goes, he might become a flip risk to LSU.
  16. 8 is the number. Eight keeps it straight. Get to 8 and all the off the field momentum we are generating keeps rolling down the tracks.
  17. When you look at them more closely, a lot of the reported “cancel culture” incidents within organizations turn out to be power moves of office politics for one person to dispatch a rival, or in some cases move up the office hierarchy. That could be what happened here as Venables seeks to purge the staff of possible dissidents.
