  1. Love Chicago and The Drake hotel is my favorite. Hope you are not suffering as a result of the accident and that things go smoothly across the pond.
Actually, my bruises are all turning a nice yellow color, and I think all the walking today was beneficial.

Check about the planned strikes.  When I got to Germany last month that weekend they were having a planned rail strikes in France. I also saw two more weekends they already had booked for strikes in France.

Good point.  So far so good.  Sounds like it might be done in July, which is good since I train from Marseille to Paris. The time we are in Provence, we have a rental car.

  3. Oh yeah I remember that one time when all you fucks claimed to be going and only me, The Tower and Stregahorn showed up.   Don't think I will ever forget that shit.

At least the next game all you fuckers were actually there.

    Yeah, those were fun.

Will try and make it on Saturday for a bit.

Arrived on Sunday and had roast at Andover Arms in Hammersmith about 3 blocks from my AirBnB. It was really good. Had the beef and the lamb shoulder.

Notable meals so far are amazing Indian at Dishoom near Camden and an absolutely insane afternoon tea at sketch. The facility alone is badass but it is quite the spectacle. Also had some really good Italian last night by the theater at some tiny little place, but I don’t remember the name.

I really recommend staying near the Hammersmith Tube Station. It has 3-4 of the lines so getting around is easy but it’s still bargain enough. I think we’re paying $200/night after all taxes and fees, etc. We’re in a one bedroom that sleeps four that’s about a 7 minute walk to the station.

We’re still here until Sunday so I’ll add more later. It’s not as cool as Sydney or NYC to me but it’s enjoyable. I still can’t get over how this city just goes to sleep so early.

I can vouch for that Dishoom and the afternoon tea at sketch.

Don't care about that...I would do it just to piss him off because he is an asshole and probably a pedophile as well.

    Worse than Hitler and Wels?

HRC was also the only moderate Dem around. Maybe the last moderate to win a primary given our current climate. So, as someone in finance, who is going to be a "better" Dem candidate than Hillary for you?  Definitely not Bernie.  He would actually be coming to redistribute your wealth. Your best bet would have been to stop Trump in the GOP primary.  That will still be your best bet in 2020 because Hillary was the closest you were ever gonna get to a Dem that supports trickle down economics. She is also pro free trade, unlike both Bernie and Trump.  The next Dem candidate will probably be closer to Bernie than Hillary.

It is like you think I am a necon or even remotely support the GOP.  I do not.  However, HRC expected people to get behind her because it was her turn and she was a woman, which were both shitty reasons to vote for her. She never gave me a reason to either trust her or want her as President.  I actually almost didn't vote, which is something I have done in the past, but I, unlike many that claimed they did, voted Johnson and Weld, because they were the best choice of what was out there.

Also, trickle down doesn't work.  Neither does Keynesian.  I am very much more of an Austrian that believes in Free Markets, though I do acknowledge, unlike some, that government has its place.  I just have no trust that our government won't grossly overstep.

And electing a black president is what got us where we are today -- there are tens of millions of people who are really fucking pissed off about that fact.  Who voted for a president who blew every racist dog whistle (including blowing it specifically against that black president) known to man.

Yeah, that wasn't the reason, but keep using that strawman.  We got where we are today because the democrats went all in on HRC.  We literally had the worst two candidates for major parties in the history of elections.
