My wife used to be very involved and cared about politics since 2015, but the last 8 months or so she basically forbade the talk of politics in our house. She didn’t want to hear any of it.
Since Biden stepped down, she is right back into it. She’s asking me to put on podcasts, hell, even CNN to watch Biden’s speech. She’s reinvigorated. She was always going to vote, but this has really brought her back into the fold.
Similar situation in my humble abode. I’m 100% behind her. Told her I would make my own sandwich tonight so she could participate in the Zoom call. -

I know it's a common refrain from me, but people really should watch the rest of the year. Carapaz is a literal past GT and Olympics winner. Remco probably the second most well know cyclist of the past 5 years besides maybe Pogacar, if not moreso.
Yeah. I keep up with the results during the year but usually only end up watching a few. -
My pocket guide to right wing humor: you'll look at something like this and think there's got to be more to it. Nope, you already got it. It's just some scumbag sex trafficker calling a woman old. Pronghorn was recently defended by some on this forum as having been alright back when he was just posting porn in I'd Pee In Her Butt. Now, it's mostly just links from his sewer of a twitter feed between midnight and 7am CST. He's truly one of those "high value males" that the red pill grifters talk about.
Oh yeah, smartypants? Pretty sure he’s rubber and you’re glue! -

The stage was a mere 2km too long for Matty. Pogi putting on a show of dominance.
I’m a fan of Pogi. I love to see the leader riding aggressively, but would have liked to have seen Matty win the stage.
Tejay was bitching post race that mean old Pogi should throw a bone to some other riders. When they asked Powless about it he mentioned he should be true to his team who worked their asses off to get him in position to take the stage. -

Agreed. Jonas did it more than 2:30 seconds faster than Pantani in 1998. Although, who's to say if the disrupted training didn't actually HELP Jonas? There's no way to say with certainty.
Of course, with better equipment, better training, a deeper understanding of physiology and recovery etc ... better times are to be expected. Still ...
I have no idea but it doesn’t seem like punctured lung, several broken ribs and a broken collarbone a couple of months before Le Tour could be helpful.
If Pog wins won’t this be the first time since Pantani a rider won the Giro an TdF in the same year? -
