1. I love adventure travel shows. This has become my favorite. I’ve been following her Patagonia to Alaska trip on YouTube. She has finished the trip and has a movie but I like to watch her individual episodes when on my rowing machine. 25 to 30 minutes usually.
It’s a solo trip on a small bore Honda dual purpose bike. She does all the video, edits and all post production and uploads after each ride. Even the mundane parts of border crossings and finding maintenance/repair parts for her bike and equipment are interesting and South and Central Americas are fascinating and stunning.

4. I know Landomatic hates Restaurant Week but my wife and I have been known to sneak out a time or two during this to try new places. We were going through our water damage claim last year at this time and didn't have a functional kitchen so we were eating out nearly every night. I feel like there's not a whole lot that's very exciting on there for 2023. I see Julian Barsotti's places are on there and we always love trips to Fachini. Mrs C-Man has never been to Nonna so maybe this is the time we check that off the list.
Anybody making any plans to partake?

6. Anyone watching The Crowded Room?

Spoiler

Seems like “A Beautiful Mind” so far  can’t tell how much of anything in his story is real versus imagination

Finished it. Enjoyed it. Critics didn’t seem to like it. Loosely based on Billy Milligan. I thought Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried were very good. I liked the way they put you in the main character’s mind. Best to take it without knowing much about the real Billy Milligan.
7. Bummer. I was a regular at Dada when New Bohemians were honing their chops there. Not friends but spoke with him frequently sitting at the bar. Super nice dude.
