I am not suggesting we fire the coach but this coach has not excelled in anything to date giving me hope that he can turn things around. He needs a lot of help. Getting a coach like Patterson is paramount imo. If you are CDC, you have to be strategic about it. Get Patterson to the 40 acres in whatever capacity you can and have him advise the DC and HC or even let him be the DC or make him the associate HC. Have a backup plan in place just in case Sark shits the bed next year.

His offense seems to work very well when the players execute it.  Even slightly better performance from the QB and the OL and this season looks a lot different.  I haven't given up on Card yet, and I have faith that Flood can improve the OL if given time.  The defense was a major issue, especially the lack of any kind of pass rush, but the Patterson news would suggest he recognizes that and is taking steps to address it.

Sarkisian was an abject failure. Getting fired for being an abject failure isn't a red flag to anyone, anywhere.

This is a reactionary opinion.  There isn't enough data on Sark yet to make that judgement.

Which of the coaches we've fired in the past decade do you contend we fire too soon? Concrete examples?

Our problem has been hiring shit coaches in the first place, not firing them too early. Sark will get his three years, same as Charlie did.

Well they already aren't, that horse has left the stable. There's a reason we ended up with Sark.

Each of our previous two coaches was given enough time to show what they were capable of.  Charlie earned his shitcanning with three straight losing seasons.  It might have been a good idea to give Herman another year, but he was a miserable cunt who no one liked so he kind of earned his shitcanning as well.  Sark has had one season, and that's not enough time to draw a definitive conclusion.  If he continues to lose, he'll go, but any suggestion of firing Sark after one season is an opinion to be disregarded.

    Me.  I’m a sunshine pumper.

We are better than 6-6 and make Alabama mess their drawers.  May not win but closer than the Surly experts think.

I consider that reasonable, not sunshine pumping.  Dude's acting like everyone is predicting a playoff berth in here.

As much as I know the extra practices would be good for building for the future, I am really not interested in seeing a 5-7 Texas team get blown out by Southwestern North Dakota State University.

    Then don't watch.

I'm going to change my username to '57 points', because that's how many points PK allowed at home, to Kansas and a 3rd string QB.

Yeah, because that happened in a vacuum.  The offense coughing it up four times, one leading directly to six of those points you're hanging on the defense, were not a factor on the score at all.  Not saying our defense wasn't horrible this year, but the kind of hyperbole you're spewing here serves no one.

Fragile little bitch lol. PK’s resume is good, the industry thinks he’s a great DC. Your opinion is garbage which is ok because this is a message board.

Who gives a fuck about his resume. He’s coached one of the worst defenses in our programs history. You can take his resume , shine it up real really nice, turn that son of a bitch sideways, and shove it up your candy ass.

Can't you two see that you love each other!?!?

  7. Question for the lawyers:  So let's say back in season 1, Tom just says fuck it and goes into work, signs out all the incriminating cruise documents from records, and shreds the entire lot of it.  Now there are no physical documents that can prove any executive at W/R had any knowledge of the terrible things that are alleged to have happened in Cruises.  They also referred to completing a "digital deep clean" in that season as well, so there are also no electronic records.  Basically, nothing now exists that can prove anyone at W/R had any knowledge of any illegal activity.

The only thing the feds can prove is that Tom destroyed documents.  What is Tom guilty of and what's the max fine/prison time he could face?

And yes, this was a long time ago. 2007. But it is still inexcusable and just one in a long line of this conference's refs fucking us. You can add in there the Michael Bennett aggy cheap shot on Colt.

Definitely remember that bullshit.  The only thing that pissed me off more than the cheap shot was the reaction of his OL.  Didn't even bother to help him up.  Just an unbelievable display of pussyosity.
