I absolutely think it's both, but the buck stops with the men paid to coach the other men up. It's literally their jobs.

I agree, but I'm happy to give him at least one full offseason to start unfucking the situation and see how it goes.  I've seen enough to know that cycling out coaches/coaching staffs every other year isn't a good plan.

Of the top 10 signed prospects in '19/'20, 1 is a Heisman level player, 1 has only strung together a few games without breaking his body, 1 is constantly being played out of position, and the rest are jags or gone.

Now look at the diamonds in the rough. Who panned out?

How many of these guys would be playing at all if the guys in front of them weren't total busts or transfer? Sweat? Wiley can't be relied on to play half of what his position entails, and the rest are either gone, jags, or have no business playing right now (though I would entertain arguments for Barron).

Finally, the meat of the classes where you find the surprise starters, depth, and specialists/situational players.

A bunch of OL jags yet to sniff the depth chart, evals yet to pan out, and guys who wouldn't be playing if not for attrition and injuries. This tier gives us exactly one guy who has outplayed his ranking in Roschon.

Herman got a lot of credit for '18 and '19, but we're watching the dumpster fire that is the 2018 class as mostly starters, and there's nothing of value behind them with the exception of a handful of guys who may still pan out + Bijan Robinson.

We have nothing. This is a rebuild. Hopefully Sark treats it like one.

Thank you for that.  Now where were we?  Oh yeah ... iT's ThA cOaChEs NoT tHa pLayErz FuK sArK duurrrrrrrrrr!

Well, who asked you to?  No need to burden yourself guy, just stick to what you're good at: fucking with aggy.

Have you been paying attention to UT football this season? You don’t think the product Sark has delivered sucks? I sure do and I’m certainly not denying it.

News flash, amigo - it’s going to get a lot worse before it ever gets any better. That much should be obvious.

I have zero confidence in Steve Sarkisian. Zero. Highly problematic is the fact the regent who insisted he knew what he was going when he had Herman fired and who largely is responsible for the Sarkisian debacle will never be held accountable for his incompetence and will be given every opportunity to screw up the next hiring, also.

That’s one of the major problems with UT football.

Im not sure how you interpret this sentiment as my lying about what I said. How anyone could not have understood after the OU game that UT football is lousy. It deserves laughter, ridicule, and mockery. Sarkisian is way in over his head, the program has incompetence at the highest levels, and I can find no reason why anyone who understands the game of college football expects anything other than a complete shitshow for the foreseeable future.

How you interpret my opinion as a complete excoriation of the program that I am certainly not walking away from mystifies me.

Now, enough about Texas football. There are reasons to believe other school sports can deliver a quality live sports entertainment product. I have completely separated myself from UT football other than to laugh at the incompetence and to shake my head at how educated people can’t see how bad the product Sarkisian has delivered is.

    tl;dr.  Back on ignore.

  5. Until I saw this thread I hadn't thought of SA since college or lowtax since the Uwe Boll thing so I did some quick reading to catch up.  So ... pressured by the users into selling the site, then immediately perma-banned from it upon turning over control?  Yeah.  Fuck that.  I'd have taken the site offline and burned the servers in my backyard on a livestream before I allowed that to happen

I didn't say I was going to be gone. I said I've given up on this incarnation of UT football.

    "I officially abandon UT athletics."
    "Texas sucks."
    "Texas sucks. End of story."
    "I'm walking away."

Don't lie about what you said, clown.
