  1. Baxter with the "you can't stop me" run!
  2. Williams needs to step up. Whiffed tackles, letting a receiver get behind you when you're supposed to be covering the deep middle, etc. Not good, Bob.
  3. Sweat with the Heisman pose! Hell yeah!
  4. Ball marked out 2 yards short of the hit but no late-hit penalty.
  5. Not then. He looked up and saw the ball coming then lowered his head and ran at the receiver and tried to stick an arm up last second. If he keeps his eyes on the ball the entire time then he can jump and get to the ball before the receiver.
  6. Barron - look for the fucking ball and go up for it. Easier to knock it away.
  7. No flag? Didn't think there should be one, but maybe the refs are going to call this straight.
  8. How come I've never heard of any of these "platinum selling recording artists"?
  9. We get Louisville and Alabama to win (and us), we might get this first round: #1Michigan vs #4 Alabama #2 Washington vs #3:Texas Would love to see a rematch in the championship game.
  10. I'm looking into getting one soon. My vehicle is older and built for hauling tons of shit. About to hit 350k miles. Not a lot of good places to mount something like that, but we'll see. Is it Fast Charging for Android? Regular charging speeds can't keep up with the usage.
  11. Yep, but I've been doing a lot more Target delivery lately. Better pay.
  12. I have a delivery job where my route is done through an app. I use navigation to get there, scan packages, take pictures as proof of delivery, etc. I work 7-10 hours per day. If I don't plug my phone in every time I get in the car, my battery will be dead in a few hours. Sometimes when I'm doing a tight route where I'm getting out every 2-3 minutes I don't plug in every time and after an hour I'm down to 65%. It goes down faster below 50% than it does above 50% so I keep it as charged as possible. Camera especially eats up the battery. App developers aren't the smartest at battery usage. I sometimes get updates to the app that will literally eat battery so much that I can watch the battery go down 1% per second if I don't keep it plugged in, and then it just holds steady instead of going up. I have to turn the screen off and listen to directions instead of looking at the map, and then scan the package in my car and take the photo on zoom from my window. Luckily they usually fix that shit fairly quickly when the complaints come in. Can't do my job without it. I've had a cord break and not notice it's not charging for a while, and suddenly it's below 15% and I'm scrounging for a cord because I know my phone will be dead in like 20 minutes. Or someone who uses their phone as part of their job.
  13. Every once in a while doing delivery, I'll get a package addressed to "E 19th St" and I'll think, "There is no 19th St." Google Maps has no idea what to do. It'll go to one of those new apt buildings on E MLK. I've had people there tell me the address auto-populates as 19th St when they order.
  14. You don't look at her tits? Okies are weird.
  15. Cords. I plug in and unplug my phone over 100 times per day. Cords last about a month and then start intermittently charging before eventually not working at all. Braided cables last the longest.i but a 6-pk at a time, but inevitably the wife and kids steal a few from each order.
  16. Every time I see this photo, I think, "That's a pretty good bunny shadow puppet on her tit."
  17. There is probably a code for changing the beep feature. Check your manual if you care. Don't tell her you changed it. Wait for her to mention it's acting different.
  18. Let's correct this. A starting teacher's base salary is $55.8k. They don't hit $60k ($60.2k actually) until year 19 at the current salary. That's right. Almost 20 years in and the base pay hasn't even increased $5000. That means after 19 years their pre-tax monthly paycheck has gone up $400. At 30 years they're at $69k, an increase of about $1000 (before taxes) per month over a first-year teacher. Yeah, teachers can't afford to live anywhere in Austin without a spouse or partner making a lot more. Two teachers aren't living in Austin together, especially if they have kids.
  19. Too much to catch up on to read it all. I expect that we only have one shot - Georgia, Michigan, Washington, Texas and Louisville win. That's it. If Michigan, Florida State, Washington, Texas, and Alabama win, I know we're getting screwed and they'll put Bama in over us and use the excuse that they're playing better at the end of the season than we are and beating #1 is better than beating whatever Bama's rank was at the time. They won't care about the head-to-head win. If Georgia, Michigan, Florida State, Texas, and Oregon St win, they'll put in OregonSt and leave us out. If Alabama, Michigan, Florida State, Oregon State, and Texas win, I wouldn't be surprised to see them put in Alabama AND Georgia and leave us and Oregon St out. Otherwise, they'll still put in Bama and OregonSt. I fully expect to be screwed by Bama winning and jumping us. The only way we stay ahead is if we both get in, and that doesn't seem likely.
  20. Okie Lite - 10 Texas - 54 Combined Running Yards - 311
  21. So his buyout starts at $6.5M, but they owe him 75% of the entire contract if he leaves - or only if they fire him? If it's no matter why he leaves, he should sign the contract, then tell them he's going back to Duke. Have them subtract the $6.5M from the $30M they owe him, then go back to Duke. If he has to get fired, start saying "Hook'em" after every sentence until they tell you to leave.
