  1. People don't "identify" as much with a party nowadays, but it's not like there's moderates who are constantly swinging between the parties.
  2. And with that, all the Republicans on shaggy who vanished after Trump became president will come pouring back ready to shit on whichever the next Dem president is.
  3. He's easily super popular among his party members. We have to remember that Bush was there due to a war and 9/11. Otherwise Trump would be leading this.
  4. No, I think it's because Trump's celebrity and personality really turned everything into a spectacle (good or bad is up to your politics). We had heavy social media interaction before Trump. People that I know who hated politics also got involved just to meme and make fun of the process that we use to select our president. I also think it has more to do with the polarization of both candidates. People had a visceral reaction to both or at least one. It was a long time coming too so we could watch the twist and turns play out over a long period of time.
  5. It's amazing how the 2016 election has become a flash point for our society in politics and outside of it. We will be discussing it for years to come, and even here we've beaten the subject into the ground.
  6. Those poor Q-saders... what batshit conspiracy will they hang on to now?
  7. Both Sanders and Raj Shah (her deputy) are leaving. It's a high stress job.
  8. It's a big risk to take the kid, and an even bigger risk if they're willing to punt on Gbenda's recruitment this early. Maybe the Mack comparison will prove more and more true.
  9. Must've been a real fight pulling Lee from... checks notes Florida A&M.
  10. Sucks for Kudlow and his family, but he's also negotiating trade deals... Edit: Trump was the first to tweet out the news. Probably should've waited.
  11. Maybe it's something we should be considering. I except nothing from congress, and yet I'm still disappointed. That doesn't mean I can't support ideas because I see no political inertia for them.
  12. Oh good, we're re-litigating the 2016 election one more time. November 2016 has got to be the longest month in history.
  13. Cancelling trade to own the libs. I really think we should pass a law that the president can't just declare trade wars on whim.
  14. They changed it to 280 characters many months ago.
  15. This year's recruiting class is lacking on top end QB's. I'm glad we got ours early on.
  16. It would be funny how much of an idiot this guy is, if he wasn't in charge of an actual agency.
  17. Bill's rubric takes recruiting, and a 5 year history into account when it generates the data. Baylor's still riding high from the wins of 2013 and 2014 in his data, and he points it out a couple of times. That OOC schedule is a cakewalk though. With any developmental leaps they can start 5-1, and they played Oklahoma close last year too.
  18. There's another medallion now. This one's from Singapore commemorating the talks.
  19. This is the most apt summary I've seen yet.
  20. Isn't there already a parade asking for pardons? They know how to get his attention, and Trump is already considering at least a dozen pardons just because he can. Some are private, and some go on Fox News.
