  1. Unfortunately, you are most likely correct on this. I think a big part of it is Altuve is way to close in physical stature to all the keyboard, social media, and old school media members who opted to stay inside instead of going out an play in the fucking dirt and heat but now believe it is their duty to protect the game from players such as Altuve. Similar to the character of Max Mercy in The Natural. Jose has done what they could never imagine, he has done what they never had the courage, and they would rather toss laurels to the players who fit their ideals than a player who embodies what is good about the game.
  2. I never have understood if you aren't good enough to get it on at Year 1 or Year 4 or 8 you now are good enough at Year 10. Seriously, the only explanation is the guy who came up with the rules believe in the concept of purgatory.
  3. Which of the voters for the HOF is going to take the stance that on principle for his "role" in the 2017 scandal will they not vote for Atuve on the first ballot. Oh, by the way, not voting on the first ballot for the HOF Is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard of and cast a pox of painful dysentery on any voter who does this to a guy who is one of the greatest stories in MLB history. A guy like Judge should post those numbers, the gambler with Yakuza ties is an athletic freak, and Altuve is the most every man, blue collar, refuse to quit story out there.
  4. My credentials as a verified as all those experts. Tell me what one has to do to become a recruiting expert because I know the guys who do it for TCU don't really know shit about football when it comes to knowing who projects where in schemes. I am sure you can find a number of people on here can talk about Ketch's abilities to spot talent. Hell, the NFL spends how much to evaluate players for each year's draft and continually miss. How hard can it be to evaluate each year's prospects and each year's group of transfers and project them into a specific scheme and there ability to master that scheme in a matter of months to weeks?
  5. Yes, because the only way all those players are hurt is due to the quality of the defense. The logic is undeniable.
  6. Much tougher market when everyone is open to bid.
  7. All good, I think there really needs to be a buffer between when people see things and when they can post on social media.
  8. So Crane didn't to spend that money on Hermann park instead of the roster?
  9. He has a better union, I also call bull shit on this.
  10. You do realize that not tearing any of the connective structures is a good thing and might be considered by some to be catching a break. Now let's wait two weeks for the x-rays to get back to determine if there is a break.
  11. Most talent ever based upon the ratings of people whose opinions truly don't matter, the recruiting experts right?
  12. WTF? So the guy who has been running the Senior Bowl and has been primariy and NFL scout is now qualified to make decisions on medical matters?
  13. Is this what it feels like to have an outfield in which all three outfielders realistically could get a hit in the same game?
  14. Exactly, at the speed Lewis is currently driving that car the groundhog would have simply walked off the track.
  15. They better be careful with how practice is playing out. The offense is installing a new offense, multiple changes in the line, and getting their arses kicked. Defense has benefited from signings and draft picks, running the same scheme with the same staff for three years and while it is great they are feeling it they need to be smart.
  16. Pretty wide net to cast right now and if Altuve beats one more fucking pitch into the ground trying to pull it...........
  17. You also forgot to mention a number of their current and former students can be found in film. I read somewhere that Exploited College Girls will be featuring the best of the girls from Arizona State.
  18. Good thing the Astros removed Tal's Hill as Jake is only working on flat ground at this time.
  19. Curious how many here realize Christian Walker is leading the Astros in RBI.
  20. More like broken strategy because they were about to get caught for plank wear again. Russell called them on it during the race, we get Charles complaining on the radio about the decision the team make during a stop, and now this bullshit excuse.
  21. The last episode pretty much summed up Season 8 for me. They really need to decide where they want to take this series.
  22. That is what Schumacher would have done and with nearly a 300 point lead in the Constructors there is some wiggle room for Oscar.
  23. Interesting, but just under 10.7 by the kid in Britain wouldn't have got him out of some districts in Texas and what the article failed to mention is not only did a 17-year old junior when the 100 M last spring, but there were two younger participants who ran under that 10.68 they highlighted in the story. Also, fucking spikes aren't the reason these kids are running in the so damn fast.
