  1. They better be, because they are going to have Hawkins throwing to them for a few games.
  2. Hmmm... I have heard a similar story, but can't remember exactly where.
  3. Horner without Newey has won exactly what? I am not sure if Adrian will be part of a team that wins more titles, but his resume is fairly strong without Christian and which team is going to let him control all aspects of the team.
  4. Coach K has a son who is going to coach at Auburn?
  5. https://youtu.be/-p-2DsC_El8 If you missed the race here is the link to the US Women winning yet another 4 x 400 meter relay. Goodness knows this didn't show up anywhere on ESPN.
  6. I think that would be a very good way to play him. Also think keeping him in the pocket and making him work through progressions, make good choices, and accurate throws would work for Texas with their secondary. His footwork and mechanics are terrible and he often seems to break the pocket in an attempt to get things down to a street ball level.
  7. Actually, I was actually asking for clarification and worded my question poorly, but please continue with the red ass.
  8. Agree, OU's offense was teetering on disaster multiple times against Auburn, but I suspect we will find out that Auburn defense isn't half bad and OU has no other real offensive weapons outside of their quarterback.
  9. Yes I did, I read this sentence from Biff: "I understand Mateer has 2 more "good" wins, so I guess that's why he's getting more hype right now (plus Arch shitting the bed for 2 out of 4 games), but just found it surprising. " Not sure why it would be surprising Mateer would be getting more praise for beating those two teams, but it wouldn't be the first thing I don't understand.
  10. What exactly are the criteria for those rankings?
  11. You don't think wins over Michigan and Auburn are better than San Jose, UTEP, and Sam?
  12. Damn, Horner almost with a Jimbo level buyout though Red Bull is doing better without Christian than the Ags without Jimbo.
  13. I think the issue comes down not from when the CFP involved 4, but now that we have extended that number. Teams are continually rated too high below that top group and they tend to stick in the Top 25 based upon their conference affiliation while teams outside the top 25 have a much bigger hill to climb. Perfect example this year is Illinois just off the top of my head.
  14. Fred Akers might offer "uncle" involved in recruiting.

I would suspect Bama v Vandy would be considered the bigger mtach up with the revenge factoring being played up based upon last season.
  16. You are joking about about preseason polls are often good right?
  17. You mean the Ok State team that followed up the success of their 2023 season buy going 0-9 in conference play in 2024? They have had success, but no one thought they were going to do shit this year, especially anyone who remembers Meacham's last stint as an OC.
  18. Holy cow, I just looked at USC's schedule and there and outside of ND and Oregon there aren't many games that I thought really should pose a threat to them and they aren't exactly a rolling ball of butcher knives. How the hell did Sparty score 31 points?
  19. Very possible, as is him starting out 17-0 and then dropping the last 5 to kill the Rangers hope of the playoffs.
  20. Agree that SC and Indiana look to be good, not sure on Michigan, they are very good defensively but no sure on offense> Nebraska is blah to me. I think it is still too early to truly know who is good or not for many of these teams.
  21. Neither is much of the ACC outside of two teams which now that I think about it might be a good description for the Big 10.
  22. Hmmm... those are Framber level numbers for crunch time from a 42 year old.
  23. Umm....a bit a recenty bias because I would counter with DeShaun Foster a few days ago.
