  1. Remind me how he got into that situation as he didn't inherit 3 baserunners.
  2. So, if you are Crane and Brown, do you really want to tie yourself to someone who continually proves to be mentally weak on the mound despite eating innings and when they are on are very good.
  3. Pretty sure among the career totals for Astros, Altuve unfortunately has to be among the leaders in taking a pitch a foot outside and hitting a weak ground ball to a middle infielder. Sigh, I miss when he would shoot that ball the opposite way.
  4. Trade off, sit Yordan or he got to put Melton in centerfield.
  5. I have seen two variations of this posted elsewhere One was accompanied by the phrase "Jordan asks for her allowance to buy something at the concession stand/" and the other is "Jordan asks Bill if he will take Jordan and her friend to get pizza after the game."
  6. Who the fuck is Ken Bernkert?
  7. Fuck UNC, did you forget this is the school that created fake classes for athletes and didn't get shit down to them by the NCAA. Fuck them and fuck Duke while I am thinking about schools that have gotten away with cheating and never got touched by the NCAA.
  8. Very glad they have gotten carries for Denman One of those overlooked backs from East Texas who is going to grow into a very good back in a few years.
  9. That punt looked my tee shot on the third hole today. Play some back ups, keep people talent, and get ready for ACU.
  10. First, fuck Reese Davis. Please start talking about how Bill is going to hold this against TCU next year. Please run that message every freaking minute just as every mention of this game on ESPN this weekend has featured Belichick. Second, I didn't expect UNC to be good, but they might be worse than ACU.
  11. Hoover two years ago would have emailed that ball, Hoover first half of the year would have either thrown a dart for a touchdown or a pick, and now after starting 19 games he is a functioning quarterback. Practice is nice, genetics nice, but you can't replace game experience.
  12. I realize Cam getting two hits today means he will be sitting tomorrow against the Yankees, but more importantly will it finally move Smith above Melton on a certain posters sucks shit through a straw list.
  13. CUrious is Kukichi ever thinks about staying with the Astros, taking less money, but playing for team competing for the playoffs once again instead of being with a team fighting for the bottom of the division yet again.
  14. You need to define the parameters of your question, this thread, this board, the internet....
  15. Was legit, great arm strength, but once again not unique, and if want to have a log career playing on Sundays you need to make those throws he missed and make the right decisions.
  16. Tatoo place on Sheppard inside the loop has a sign out by the road, get the tatoo, your family is already disappointed in you. After watching parts of a number of games and two full games the past few days there has been a few apparent things about quarterback play. First, experience matters. As a few posters here have already mentioned, Sayin didn't exactly kill it yesterday which isn't an excuse for Arch's play, but snaps in live game action matter./ Arch, Sayin (who reminded me of Bryce Young), and Ty Simpson all struggled yesterday and missed throws that have to be made if you are going to win games and compete for titles. Simpson is a damn junior and his 43 throws yesterday were damn near as many as he had in three years prior at Bama and it showed multiple times in the game. Second, the fit of the quarterback and scheme is damn important. FSU's quarterback looked like he was made for the offense, Dampier of Utah was a fucking machine as they destroyed UCLA , and even Arnold looked productive at times in an offense that didn't ask him to do what he can't do to often against Baylor. Makes me wonder if coaches at times really don't know what skill sets work best in their offense. Not sure if Arch really was comfortable with what Sark was asking him to do, but that will play out. Finally, most media don't know what the fuck skills and abilities make a successful quarterback. Late in the game Arch makes the deep throw to I think the Horns tight end and Gus Johnson proclaims that was a professional throw. Actually, Gus, I saw similar throws made a few times yesterday. Putting the ball up in a jump ball situation isn't that unique and if that is all it took to play in the NFL then Anthony RIchardson's arse would be starting for the Colts. What matters is throwing receivers open, what matter is not just completing passes but putting that ball in a position where only the receiver can make the play and often times puts the receiver in a position they can make a play after the catch. Arch missed a number of those, but I guess since I am not a Horn alum I can be a bit more patient . You would think reading this thread that this was a UCLA board and you might be thinking that regardless of how hard or far NIco can throw a football he has zero leadership or understanding of an offense and the passing game. Yes, I know he is a Manning, big fucking deal, that is worth zero point on the board. I think I recall hearing Klubnik was MVP of the Manning passing camp and a top ten pick and he looking pretty damn blah when it mattered against LSU at home.
  17. I understand that in the SEC things mean more, but I guess time passes differently because one game means an entire year?
  18. Steal one in a couple of years, but right now they need people who know what it takes to build a team and a competitive car.
  19. No, he hangs out at malls and tells girls his name is Ron America,
  20. I never really understood why he spent the time there as I get the impression Aranda is about to change what he is doing defensively as Gary did at TCU which ended up costing him and most likely Aranda.
  21. What the fuck are you talking about? You are making about as much sense as Baylor's game plan for stopping the run,
  22. Don't argue, the numbers tell the whole story.
  23. What?
  24. Obviously Gary's time in Waco was well spent.
