  1. Curious what the winners split was the other night in Miami? I can see the conversation starting, "What do you mean my split is $15, I bought $20 of numbers? "
  2. Exactly, what they got tonight from Gusto is pretty much what he has given them every time out with the exception of the anomaly against the Padres. The biggest problem is he barely goes past 4 so their bullpen gets over worked yet again and I can't believe that don't have some other option somewhere in the organization or off the fucking street or a car wash somewhere in Latin America.
  3. True, but if the yacht isn't mistaken for a cruise ship it is still middle tier at Monaco. Not sure how much Lawrence was pumping into Williams for a couple of seasons, but he did put down a bit of coin in the Force India fire sale and then with Racing Point and finally the second rebrand to Aston Martin. Pretty funny rewatching the old Drive to Survive and just how fucking clueless Lance is about much of life. Seriously might be a bigger dumb fuck out of car than in the car.
  4. He can do what he did in Boston, that seemed to get him out of the contract though I am not sure that was his intent.
  5. How much money has Lawrence blown on Lance's racing "career"? Realize he is worth a few billion and maybe his plan is to keep Lance away from the family business as long as possible, but but outside of Magnussen, I can't think of too many other drivers with that many career starts and that few a career points.
  6. Cause and effect....
  7. Ironically, that looks like JR during the last part of his life. What was if Rick James said about cocaine?
  8. Who had Walker taking Skenes deep for the deciding run on their Astros bingo card?
  9. Hmmmm...maybe 1980 with Nolan and JR Richards?
  10. Being totally honest, the Canes could have been coached by the dead guy from Weekend at Bernie's and beaten the shit out of most teams, especially in 2001 with the talent they had coming back and the motivation from the BCS snub in 2000. Took over for Butch Davis and that roster was loaded with talent. Here is the depth at running back in 2001 for the Canes: Najeh Davenport, Sr Clinton Portis, Jr. Frank Gore, Fr. Willis McGahee, Fr. Tight End was pretty decent with: Jeremy Shockey, Jr. Kellen Winslow Jr, Fr. Wide Receiver they had Andre Johnson, a few future NFL players in the offensive line, and then there is the defensive side of the ball which starts at free safety with a senior named Ed Reed and this freshman named Sean Taylor.
  11. Personally, I can think of too many TV versions of a MASH character that I preferred over the Movie version. Preferred Gould and Southerland, Kellerman, I can't even recall Duke in the TV series, and Duvall's version of Frank is soo much better than Linville's. The one character from the TV series that I would have liked to have seen in the Movie version is Charles.
  12. One thing I think we can all agree upon is the original Radar was the best one.
  13. Ort had really bad outings in those 2 games giving up 8 runs in 1 1/3 and Whitley struggled giving up 7 in 2 2/3 which is 15 of those 21 runs. I have no idea as to whether this was just a bad weekend for those two or if that is who they are at this level. Ort's numbers right now track with most of his career numbers so he might just be that guy who fills in middle innings and takes a beating. Hoping Forrest is more than that and his sample size is very small as this time, but he is 27y so he needs to make the most of these situations. The bullpen isn't the biggest concern for me as it is that 3/5's of your starting rotation is only going to give you 3-5 innings a start right now. Seriously, Lance has been the most "consistent" of the back part of the rotation and if you take out the numbers from the Cincy start he has only given up 5 earned runs in the other 4 starts since he has come back to the team. Problem is that he has only gone 18 innings in those 4 starts which means going to the bull pen early and often. Gordon has been good for ~5 in 3 of his 4 starts, but he also has given up 13 runs in those 19 2/3 so you are depending upon the offense and the bull pen. I know Gusto was a bullpen guy originally and would help in that area again, but who else do you put in the rotation right now? He has given them 1 start over 5 out of 6 starts (which somehow he only gave up 1 to the Padres in 5 2/3) and much like Gordon he has consistently given up 2-3 runs each game in that limited amount of innings. Not sure what moves they can make to stabilize that rotation because even if they get Spencer back he wasn't a 6+ inning guy last year.
  14. You have more faith in Shedeur being able to move the Browns offense than say Flaco based upon what exactly? Flaco isn't good and at his age I can't see him lasting more than half a season, but do you honestly trust any other quarterback on the roster to read an NFL secondary, to recognize what the defense is setting up to do and to audible into the proper play? So ,much of that league is seeing, recognizing, and making the right choices before the ball is even snapped I don't trust either of their rookies.
  15. By itself pretty bad, when you have runners on 1st and 3rd with no outs, and your next three batters either can't put the ball in play or hit it all of 110+ feet is damn near as bad as it gets.
  16. Was this a retirement ceremony?
  17. Means we won't see him again until August 2026 at the soonest even though I did read somewhere that the medical staff was going to try this new technology called leeches to help with inflammation ,
  18. While I am sure KState would love to eliminate Texas in Austin, they pretty much are fucking pricks with other Big 12 members as well. Not sure what it is about that athletic department, but they just seem insufferable.
  19. Obviously the rule change on the flexi front wing brought McLaren back to the rest of the other teams, a little, but not enough. I am really curious if the theory on what they did engineering the brakes to cool down and therefore reduce the heat build up in the tires is accurate. Very obvious Lando is mindfucked by Max, my wife started watching this year's Drive on Netflix and we just watched the frenemy episode last night, if that is an accurate portrayal of Lando he isn't the guy to beat Max and they both know it. Lawson is outright dangerous and easily is surpassing Stroll for his ability to create WTF moments. Speaking of WTF, WTF Max? I can see why he didn't want to give George the place, first, George is a freaking tool, but damn, what did he think was possibly going to happen doing that shit? The Ferrari vs Merc for second place in the constructors is going to be interesting. Curious if the power unit issues for Merc are a byproduct of the end of that power unit line with the new 2026 units. Three races in Canada, Austria, and then Silverstone before the summer break. Will be interesting to watch how things go at Red Bull over the next three races as I can't imagine they or any of the other teams made huge changes after the break with the new cars on the way.
  20. There is a better way to disagree with your team than ramming an opponent .
  21. Wait, you are accessing on the internet who checks easily found information? I was actually curious about the company as I at one time had a client in that area who did similar work and was curious, but you are right, no one else on this site has ever did a quick search on the internet about someone they came across from a story on the internet.
  22. There is this thing known as Linkedin........
