  1. Disagree. He should have gone to UCLA or Oregon for track & field and gotten as far away from the Peacock family as possible.
  2. Wow, I was just about to cite both of those examples. You are correct.
  3. I certainly didn't intend any passive aggression or offense. I was responding to Roma's post which ran counter to yours. Wasn't casting aspersions, quite the contrary.
  4. Tree Fiddy, along with Dennis Taylor, is a friend of the family. Or so I've been led to believe.
  5. And boy, when he found out about it, Eddie Sutton was pissed.
  6. As big a fan of his as I was, even without the trouble Burrell wasn't a surprise. But Gullette and Walton is more portal pain than I think most of us expected. But I'm sure there are NIL dollars and immediate playing time awaiting both. Kirkland, fine. But I'm certainly not gruntled right now.
  7. Like many (if not most) young RBs, Baxter ran a little too straight up last season, which makes YAC more difficult. I think we'll see enormous improvement there.
  8. Rink was a freshman when Jeter and Patton were seniors. And no one should confuse Rink with those two because they were studs, which Rink never was.
  9. We don't know that this is true; we do know we have a very talented and crowded RB room. He's been out too long to likely crack the code for playing time here.
  10. I'm not an expert, scout or professional evaluator, but I do watch a fuckton of THSF, especially in the Metroplex, and Blackshire was surrounded by talent that made him look likewise, but he was very jaggy. I am sorry we wasted a scholarship/NIL on him. I'd much rather his snaps go to someone with upside, like Burrell, for instance.
  11. Blackshire is the same jag today that he was a few years ago. Meh.
  12. Well, I see that Medusa and the Technicolor Dreamcoat is in full toxic flourish.
  13. Sadly, no. But I found it on Sportsurge. Thanks.
  14. Rangers game listed on mlb network but they are showing one of their original programs.
  15. He did indeed shoot miserably this season but the two games I saw he looks like a good player.
  16. The yogurt shop murders happened on Anderson Lane in 1991.
  17. Same. And Hallettsville played a rugged schedule that included some top 4A teams. Brooks was a great two-way player.
  18. He's plenty mobile, but he mostly uses his mobility to elude the pass rush all the while looking downfield for a receiver coming open. And he can sling it.
