Of course.

It is so easy to just move the ball against us.

When you are struggling as a team what you need is a road game in Lubbock at night.
Cracking open a bottle of wine to deal with this.

Grad transfers don't count against the 25-man counter.
Forget it man, he's rolling.

It’s really easy to see 4-5 guys leaving and maybe more. 85 will not be an issue.

His downfall saddens me. I underestimated how much pleasure I derived from his lack of self awareness.

Oh so you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Note all you want. Please dear God just do not nominate her. Your party rigs it’s primaries so tell me who we have to pay to put the fix in for a moderate candidate.

What about Elizabeth Warren’s message doesn’t resonate?
All of them. She is not likeable at all with independent voters.

My side isn't going to win, dude. The Libertarians have a habit of nominating not actually libertarian candidates who also happen to suck in general.
2020 will be a referendum on Trump if nothing major changes. The best bet for Democrats is to feed the beast that was slightly awakened yesterday. We just saw Presidential turnout for a midterm. Both sides will be rabid. The GOP will paint the Democrat candidate as an anti-Trump socialist devil no matter who it is.
You don't win that kind of election by appealing to the middle. That's exactly how you lose. You need to get your base just as rabid as the other side's base and try to give the middle slightly fewer bad reasons to vote against you.
Trump won by taking away long term traditional Democrat voters in the Midwest. Some people have called that energizing the base that is not exactly what happened. He stole away white, working class voters that voted for Obama.
In the process of being a major asshole the Democrats can steal long term traditional Republican votes that are turned off by his antics (me, as an example).

I apologize to all the Democrats on this forum that I thought were being silly when they kept complaining about how conservatives always suggest that Democrats should run a Republican if they want to win. I am sorry for doubting you.
If you just wanted to extend last night's election results into a strategy for 2020, running Hinkenlooper/Kasich as an example would really be the worst case scenario for Trump.
Suburban white voters voted in style against Republicans and those votes are easily up for grabs. Uneducated white votes are not going to vote anywhere but Trump and an Elizabeth Warren/Beto style campaign does not get those suburban voters on your side. Nor does it add any states to you in the electoral map.

Party affiliations are kind of fuzzy these days. Trump was a life long democrat after all.

Plug in Beto/Gillum to run on/message with Elizabeth Warren's anti-corruption platform (which resonates with literally everyone except the corrupt corporate class).
There's your presidency.
Elizabeth's Warren message resonates with just about no one outside of the extreme left. If Democrats take the Trump troll bait and go far to the left, you better be banking on a recession. Hinkenlooper was an absolute outstanding governor here in Colorado. I realize it's a pipe dream that he would make it through the Democratic primary (assuming its not going to be fixed this time) but he would absolutely get my vote.
As a conservative that hates Trump I am pulling for the Democrats to not take the bait and go far left and run a racial identity platform.

Sweat is probably going to spin down. Don't look at just what 247 says is their position, because the linemen especially get bigger.
Also if this is in reaction to Rodas Johnson, he was kind of spare. We didn't even know if he was being recruited as a DT or OG and he hadn't even been mentioned for months.
Attempting to educate 6th street is like spitting in the ocean to prevent the tide.
We did not sign a single defensive lineman in NSD1 last year and still brought in an awesome class.

Yep, saw that live. Was upset about our lack of game awareness in not slowing down to let them call for a review on that play.
This. It was our fault for rushing in the next play.

Is there any doubt that Tech will be able to take a backup freshman QB and run our defense off the field?

I wish we would stop calling dime "lightning". It's not good enough for a nickname unless you want to call it "dumpster fire".

Well, if it is not painfully obvious to him now that our defense is a full on three alarm fire I sure hope it is now. If we do not make major adjustments before next weekend Tech will beat us. Only Kansas is a chalk win at this point.
Maybe the realization that we could go 7-5 and wipe out all of the momentum we built up earlier in the season was what he was thinking about.
And yes I was not nervous about the conversion. They were going to score. I was watching out of morbid curiosity only.

I guess before we speculate on coaches, what kind of money are they willing to pay?

Ah yes , the old as soon as we get rid of X senior we'll be so much better.
I realize it does sound tired but I can remember several times where it was in fact true. Gideon and Boyd come to mind. There were times I thought about giving Reed Boyd a duffle bag full of cash then self reporting to NCAA.
Just joking, obviously.
Sort of.

Well, while we're all commiserating, Super K says we're in very good shape for Cain, especially if Emery goes to LSU.
The best way to help a coaching staff deficient at several spots is to load up the roster will rock stars.
It worked for Lea Miles, after all.
