  1. How long until Baylor figures out they should just run the ball every down.
  2. Yep, Casey needs to see that LB coming and dump it off to Bijan.
  3. Secondary is going to have to play more aggressive. Looks like Baylor is content to nickel their way down the field.
  4. Cook ran right into his block smh
  5. You're assuming his decision is only based on the two schools wins and losses. If that was the case he would have already stopped talking to Texas.
  6. He graduated early and reclassified. He is a freshman on their team, essentially taking a RS.
  7. Defy? No, but being a leader and telling the coaches to put them back in, yes. The players are allowing the coaches to make shitty decisions, because they aren't leaders and they are soft. I've never had a coach not put me back in a game, football or basketball, when I asked to go back in. I've never had a coach deny me an assignment when I told him that is what I wanted. You lead by example, you earn snaps and playing time by example. Tell coach not to take you out until you tap on your helmet or you ask to come out. You think a guy like Coburn doesn't have that pull if he wanted it? Ojomo? Bottom line is from what I have seen they don't want it.
  8. And a few of them, especially along the DL are perfectly ok watching us give up a crucial drive from the sidelines. I can understand needing a breather at times during the game, but once the opposing team reaches the wrong side of the 50 yd line they should be in Bo's ear telling him to rotate them back in. As I see it you're right, we don't have these type of "dogs" on defense yet. We have a couple on offense in Bijon, Worthy, and I'd throw Whittington in there as well, but we desperately need them at OL too. They also are too comfortable being a hapless bunch.
  9. While I agree Jett Bush should never see the field, especially in front of a guy like Collins, at the same time we rotate in a lot of guys at defense and everyone has gotten plenty of snaps. Cook has been decent, Overshown has flashed at times, outside of that everyone else has been mediocre at best for the majority of the season. When there is a coaching change there is always a disgruntled group of guys. If any of them were actually lighting the world on fire on the field they wouldn't have to be sharing snaps with guys like Brockermeyer and Bush. How do guys like Coburn, Ojomo, and Sweat allow themselves to be taken out of the game during crucial moments for Broughton and a true freshman? Where is the leadership, where is the dog in these guys to say you aren't taking me off the field. Some of you have obviously drawn your line in the sand and want to blame this all on coaching but a lot of these players are culpable too.
  10. The Wisconsin kid is a jag, we don't need more jags in our OL room.
  11. This obsession is probably unhealthy.
  12. KSU got to play against Rattler all game, we would have buttfucked them too if Riley didn't pull him. KU had the benefit of having game tape on Williams, and apparently DBs that can play a 50/50 ball but in the end Williams basically won that game for OU with his legs. So this transitive shit doesn't really apply, and its a a lazy take.
  13. What does any of that have to do with my post? I am not arguing against taking OL via the portal, I am arguing against adding another jag to our OL room. The Oregon OL would be a take if he wanted to come here.
  14. This kid is not a take and its ridiculous for anyone to think he is. There is no point in reaching for guys that won’t make an immediate impact.
  15. Has this account been confirmed as a Satya sock?
  16. Just did a rewind during the injury TO and that was an obvious block in the back on the previous play.
  17. Of course no replay.
  18. Caleb just exudes irrational confidence. Defenses will catch up to him soon enough.
  19. They should be sending mass text at this point. If you’re on campus get your ass to the game. We’ll let you walk right in, sit/stand wherever.
  20. The type of play our DBs couldn’t make smh
  21. I think its a safe assumption Ash defense would look a lot different without Ossai and Graham. Stern and CB was also a better safety combination last year.
  22. Seemingly a pretty quiet season this year.
  23. I don't think pointing to recruit rankings is proof this team is talented. Do we have some good players? Yes, but we also have a bunch of average to jaggish players as well. The RB room is the most talented group on this team. WR room with Whittington wasn't as bad as we feared in the offseason. I'm not even sure how to judge the QB room at this point. But after that please tell me what position group you've watched over 7 games that makes you feel like its a talented room. The DL group was supposed to be the foundation of this team and for the defense. Some of them flash here and there but none of them makes plays consistently. We struggle stopping the room and getting pressure on the QB. Hard to be bad at both. The LB room is bad, we have Overshown but even he has his flaws, Ford is showing some promise. CBs are marginal, kind of hard to gauge them when they are constantly playing 10 yards off the ball, they have flashed at times and we have also watched balls be thrown over there heads and they get beat on every 50/50 ball. The safeties are just bad, really bad. The OL is absolutely awful and can only execute a handful of run blocking schemes, can't really pass protect at all. TE's are allergic to blocking, mainly Wiley. They are probably better pass catchers, but unless Sark instructs Casey to make them the first read on pass plays, Casey will never have the time to get the ball to them. So ignoring recruit rankings, the eyetest tells me this team isn't talented, and on both sides of the ball aren't executing what they are being asked to do. The zero sum game in the offense probably hid a lot of issues that weren't realized until game action. I too would like Sark to be able to make adjustments to the offense but honestly I don't think the OL is capable.
  24. I'm willing to give Sark a pass on this season because the OL is putrid but it's on him to fix that shit in the off-season. Not sure how but he has to figure that out. And lol at calling someone with PK's resume a fraud. Don't think we have been outschemed this season. Players just aren't executing and more than half of them suck.
  25. He had a distinct role in the scheme last year at nickel that doesn't exist in this defensive scheme. He would need to be able to play safety in the current scheme, and he is slower than Schooler, Foster, and Thompson. This defense is desperately missing a rangy safety. As crazy as it sounds we probably would have been better at safety if Sterns came back.
