  1. I used to hate parallel parking. Me too. [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]
  2. Is 2 out of 3 too much for this weekend? Let’s get this conference season started on the right foot. Hook em.
  3. It won’t. Properly allocated based on age and risk . My equity exposure is down to 50% from 85% when I was a younger fella. No one knows where the market is going over the next day, week, month, year, 3 years. My experience has told me though that the market will be much higher in 10-20 years and I can’t time it. Think we are on somewhat the same page here. I just don’t think it best to sit it out, for a decade .
  4. Congrats . The one more year syndrome is indeed very real but sounds like you are committed to hanging em up. Retired two years ago and it’s glorious. Did I leave money on the table? Absolutely. But when you have your “enough”, what difference does it make? Well done.
  5. Be greedy when others are fearful. Set your equity allocation and let simmer for 30 years. Reallocate once a year to that percentage. Timing the market is a fools game. #retiredat55
  6. “Conference of champions“ looking like their normal selves in postseason.
  7. Tcu finest cheerleaders in league and it’s not even close . Damn
  8. First game to watch? Have you been in prison? Debilitating injury ?
  9. Still too early for me. Holding out for much better quality mudbugs in about mid April.
  10. It’s true. Just ask them. Whoop !
  11. This guy should be available after this season.
  12. Preach brother . 45 is a fucking zoo. I’d pay triple on the hardy just to avoid the shitshow that is I-45.
  13. You’ve chosen wisely. I actually live in the woodlands and there’s no chance in hell I would if I didn’t have kids. And it’s becoming more aggy every day.
  14. Yes. More people are putting money on Texas to win than they are on Kansas St.
  15. Well I’m 5’ 11’’ and age 57 so this hits close to home. Started November 27 at 196 and hit 180 today (2 months in). Body fat percentage has gone from 23 to 18.5. Gonna fight like hell to get to 166 by end of March but know it’s gonna be tough for reasons you’ve laid out. I’ve been doing HIIT 6 days a week, strength training 3-4x and walking about 13-15k steps a day. No booze, limited carbs and averaging about 1750 calories a day. I’m retired so fortunate to have the time to do all of that. No way I could have when I was grinding it out in corporate America. Damn it’s hard the older we get. Keep plugging away everyone.
  16. Just save yourself the hassle and give me your tickets. Thanks!
