I wouldn’t post something from someone unreliable. I do enough of that like the rest of us when I offer my own opinion. Sometimes, however, I post stuff to create activity and awareness so others have a means of saying what needs to be said. A lot of people think losing Milroe would be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

    damn..😢

Wiltfong just crystal balled a RB to tOSU.  That's two he's crystal balled to them.  Weren't they one of the main programs for Henderson?

Is that the kid from Michigan he CB'd?  Buck fan I know say they are getting 2 in this cycle.. He thinks it's that kid from Michigan and the local kid here in VA, Henderson.

I agree with you about the 1950s techniques and the modern athlete, it didn't work exceedingly well on the 50s athlete either, but I digress. But this staff isn't like that at all. There isn't a Jim Turner in the bunch, now it is true that Meh is a total dickface but I don't think that was the issue at all. Bru wasn't hazed and brutalized by the guys on this team a la Full Metal Jacket. He was tested between the stripes because that's what top tier guys do. They want every rep against a top tier guy - and they want to push them to the limit. Fostering competition is this staff's MO.

That entire biased article goes through and glosses over the single biggest issue - Bru missed his fucking girlfriend. That's why he's clearly triggered by the phrase "homesick" because he feels demeaned when it comes up. He clearly has hangups about the fact that he couldn't make it at Texas because he left his high school girlfriend behind. It wasn't about Texas. It wasn't about bullying. It wasn't about Tom Herman. It wasn't about USC, or Clay Helton, or which position coach or OC was in place, because ALL of that was in flux at USC. It was about a girl and he's embarrassed that it was.

    same girl..still left him lol

That Arizona State snatch is a strong draw. Especially when compared to what they got going on in College Station.

I call bullshit.  Texags has B/CS ranked #1 in Hot Females in the US per capita.

Take the top 6 from the Pac 12: USC, UCLA, Stanford, Washington, Oregon, Colorado (along with the two Arizona schools)  and combine with the top 4 of the Big 12: UT, OU, TT and Kansas along with BYU (national following, could easily and quickly make the jump) and New Mexico (yes, they are of little value now but that could change as part of a major conference) and you would have a contiguous 14 team conference with long-term potential with the option to add 2 more in the future.

Jonah Miller has been Fong'd to Oregon.

OB and IT were saying all we needed to do is push.. so I'm gonna go all Kool-aide and think the staff knows Byrd, the Brocks and a swing player like Wykoff  are in the bag ..

They are now at #7 with 7 commits.  6 being 4*'s.  I posted in the main recruiting thread this is the guy they took over Milroe so we'll see if anything comes of it.

On the Biggins and Powers podcast (247), they said that this 21 class out of North Carolina was the deepest they have seen in quite a while. Mack is doing well trying to close the borders with the elite players in state.

Hm, they are the kings of Olympic sports. Like half the US women's swim team including Ledecky has passed through there.

I forgot about the swim team.. Seems like when I watch the finals, it's always Texas, Stanford and Cal representing.

  9. On a USC message board I read this :

We are in a pissing contest between Texas and Stanford

Texas told Stanford no because they wanted to keep the LHN.

Stanford is trying to go after Texas' academic standing

Texas is trying to use us to force Stanford in a corner

Stanford should stick to academics and allow someone else to run the athletic end.

But supposedly CBS wants to underwrite a Big 12/PAC 12 merge

Texas has way more power now than they did in 2011.
Stanford made a huge mistake and they cannot admit it.

any truth to Stanford being the one leading the conference?

Yeah, pull the patented Nahlin "While our low-information plebe subscribers were panicking, your cool and handsome mods that definitely don't have a drinking problem were keeping it all in perspective." post.

yep, they started getting mad at their own subscribers last June/July when the sky seemed to be falling recruiting wise.  How dare our readers come at us after we gave them nothing but great news!

Agreed.  The Big 12 was a really good fit, and even still is with the exception of WVU.  It covered every major college between the Mississippi and the Rockies except for Piggy and Herky - who are both solid cultural fits in their current arrangement.  Sure, the Plains are a forgotten part of the country without a ton of sexy media markets, but people fucking love college sports here.

Yeah WV and Baylor need to get out.  If Staples thing was to come true, rather USC bring 7 others so it can keep many of those rivalry games alive in a 8 school division.
