  1. Match postponed. Great.
  2. I seem to remember Jessica making a point of saying something to Paul after the knife duel. Something like, "you're a killer now", or "how does it feel, killer?". The point being that he has left his youth and innocence behind. Surprised that wasn't brought up in the movie.
  3. COYS!!!! No Lo Celso, and no Ndombele. Midfield is going to be rough to watch....again.
  4. Yeah, can we get a synopsis? I've heard some shit about how bad Sasha's business acumen really is.
  5. Is that where the old Flores BBQ was located? Flores was awesome!
  6. COYS!!! Interesting that Ndombele and Lo Celso both start on the bench.
  7. Absolutely it was. NES ran out of excuses once Kane returned, the Argentines returned, and everyone was healthy. We had a sample size to understand his tactics, and they were shit. Don Conte can fix that as well as anyone. Very expensive mistake for Levy.
  8. I heard £20M for 18 months for Conte, and we owe £14M to NES. Don't know how accurate that is though. That's an expensive mistake for Levy after 4 months.
  9. It's official. Nuno is out. Word is, Conte is on a private jet to London.
  10. Yeah, Crisis Talks going on today regarding Nuno's future. Rumors that Conte might be in the fold. I'm all for Nuno leaving. I think we've had a large enough sample size to know what his philosophy is, and it's not in keeping with Levy's statement about how Spurs "need to return to their DNA". Levy won't leave, but he's not helping matters either. I was encouraged that he hired a Director, but it's looking like Paratici isn't the person he should have hired. He's the antithesis of Spurs' philosophy. It was head scratching when Levy hired someone that has no interest in his vision for the club. Paratici is too "pragmatic". On the field, what's most damning is that Spurs need a midfield. They need to cut ties with several players and go after several more. This is the sum result of Levy's refusal to sign anyone from Jan 2018 to Summer 2019. No depth, and no one prepared to step in. What happens in the next few weeks will be telling. This is Levy's most crucial decision.
  11. Nuno is a dead man walking. Paratici might as well join him. Clearly, a difference in visions between him and Levy.
  12. Well, could be flipping over to the football game full time after that.
  13. I only got to eat there once, but I really enjoyed the food (chicken fried steak) and the fantastic service.
  14. Holy shit. Jon's is coming back. I hope Bonnell pays tribute to the old location by putting up a wall you can sign as you enter. Sad story with the owner of the original one.
  15. That should do it. Poor effort by Harry. Good new is that El Clasico is starting on ESPN.
  16. COYS!!! we need a Derby win!
  17. Ate there in September, it was average.
  18. Agree with PCH. When the Pitmasters start to delegate, and spend less and less time at the pit, quality drops. Heim is the best example of this. They grew so big so quickly that Travis was running around 4 locations (Magnolia, White Settlement catering, River District, and Dallas) in less than 2 years and he couldn't spend time at any one pit. It was not as good. I really hope Goldee's doesn't follow down that path. That place is awesome, and the guys running it couldn't be any more hospitable. Their lives are about to change in a big way starting this weekend.
  19. Goldee's is a deserving number #1 TM BBQ Joint. They're my favorite in FW, and it's not even close. In addition to their BBQ, their bread is first rate. I've had Brix, and it was good. I've had Daynes, and it was good (though their ribs were below average when I went this summer). Panther City was inconsistent the times I've gone and wasn't that memorable for me. Smoke-A-Holics was fantastic too, but the carryout only option detracted somewhat. The meat wasn't as hot by the time I got to a place to eat it. Thankfully, Heim dropped down to Honorable Mention. They have slipped significantly since I first went there in 2015. It's borderline bad now. Derek Allan's is decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. 407 in Argyle isn't worth the drive but it was listed as Honorable Mention. BBQ on the Brazos slipped to HM as well. I never liked them. I thought they were severely overrated.
  20. He's great against lesser competition. He has his best games in the early rounds of the FA, the Carabao Cup, and Europa lightweights. He needs to play this way against mid-table and top 6 clubs. But I agree, if he can keep this up, we'd have a good year.
