LETS DO THIS!!! I got a beer in one hand, Chick Fil a in the other and I’m ready to start yelling a string of obscenities at Tim Beck that would make Samuel L. Jackson blush (if that were possible).
Shit, I think I’m in midseason form.
You’re either a troll or just very dumb. You talk about sources yet yours are Jeremy Clark by way of Satya. If you got all your info through that channel, you’d think it would be impressive for UT to pull in multiple 2 stars.
Jeremy Clark may be the least reliable 9.95er out there, which is really quite a feat.
So you think a senior who hears that a guy who can’t play until 2019 will be given a starting spot gets so upset that he decides to transfer?
Let me suggest an alternative, the aggy dumbass S&C coach almost killed this guy so he no longer wants to play there.
1. Not greater Houston. Literally just the northern burbs that are closest to the lit dumpster fire known as the Station.
2. There's nowhere near that kind of pressure. Family member's jobs are not being threatened. They just have to deal with obnoxious people in their ear from every direction. Completely different.
Uh no. UF has won a national championship since WWII, in fact they have 3. aggy has 0. UF has 2 basketball national titles this century. aggy has never won a basketball national championship. UF has won a national championship in baseball. aggy never has.
UF may be the inferior in-state program to FSU, but they are nothing like aggy. aggy is a special level of incompetence.
There's no doubt the defense just didn't quite show up last year, whether it was due to first game jitters or what. But Orlando's defense does struggle some against offenses that run a lot of heavier formations that include a a lot of misdirection, like K State and Maryland. Orlando slants his defenses constantly. This tends to work very well against spread teams. However, teams that run a lot of misdirection can catch Orlando's defense in a bad spot. Our defense should absolutely have a better showing than last year, however our scheme doesn't match up as well against Maryland as most other teams on our schedule.
His HS billing absolutely matters. He was rated highly because he's a better athlete than anyone we have on the roster at OL. He's been out for the season both years at UT, including most of the offseason, so asking about his "billing" at UT isn't that great of an indicator due to limited opportunities so far.
Last offseason, when he became healthy, they said he showed promise and great physical strength but needed to get the mental side down. He was the first OL off the bench until he tore his ACL. The guy had promise as a HS prospect and has shown promise in his limited healthy spurts at UT. He needs to stay healthy and continue to work on the mental side of things, but he's probably our highest ceiling interior OL.
Seriously. I stopped by Total Wine last week to get a bottle for a friend and got a bottle of Henry McKenna for myself for $27. I'm gonna be pissed if I have to start working to find that like some of the other good brown waters.
