    Welp.

That would be a kick in the balls if there's anything to that. Tongue has NFL linebacker written all over him.  The only reason I'd give it any credence whatsoever is EJ gets shit from his subs if he changes a guy away from Texas, so I doubt he's doing that unless he has some sort of info.  But still, it's EJ.

Edit: Looks like he did visit Georgia recently. Haven't seen any updates on that besides this video, so who knows what's there.

That does not suck. He's like a bigger, more physical, more fluid version of Tommy Bush, if Tommy Bush ever showed any aptitude for playing WR.

Lots of people from countries like Nigeria and the Philippines do it pretty regularly if their work involves import/export. I know a few Texans in oil who do something similar in Saudi and Canada.

Perfect time to hit and run. 2-0 after a mound visit. Knew Ellis was going to get a fastball down the middle.

    I love it.

Normally, I’d agree but their pitcher was throwing a ton of balls and struggling with command. Up his pitch count and make him throw strikes.

Following Shepherds recruitment, i havent heard one mentuon of this kids parents. Not one. All ive heard about if Footwork King taking care of the kid.

So whatever the man does. However he pays the bills, where ever his kods go. I applaud this man for being a positive influence and being there for kids who obviously need it.
Footwork king is the man in my book.

I bet your assessment of the footwork king would be a little different if he was steering all or most of his trainees to aggy or blowU..

Lulz. He doesn’t steer most or all of his trainees to Texas. aggy has clearly pissed him off either Shepherd. He’s talked on social media about a guy trying to pressure him and making his own decision. Who knows if he’ll be anti-Jimbo consistently moving forward, but he definitely hasn’t been steering all his kids to Texas in the past.

    Andrew Jones is looking good.

@Bitterwhiteguy said on his and @OnAComputer's podcast (get a surly account Tim Preston!) that Jones will be undergoing treatment until about September so his condition will probably wax and wane until then, and we won't know much about hsis potential to play next year until we can see him recover after that.

Btw, y'all do a great job with that podcast. It's freakin hilarious.

I assume he's an engineer. tokamak is an engineer, I assume. Huck is an engineer. texifornia is what, a lawyer? Not sure what fatkid is, but he's one of the three. The way you disappeared around tax season, I assumed you were a tax lawyer. Anyway, it's catnip and someone will not be able to hold off addressing it.

I am actually also curious what texifornia is, don’t think it’s a lawyer. I know what Katfid is but I’ll let him decide if he wants to say.

I would rather be the janitor at Warehime’s favorite Whataburger than a tax lawyer.

If Leal and NaNa were Horns right now, would be pursuing Mpagi? At some point in the fall, quite possible. In June? Probably not.

Hard to say, of our remaining targets, Zach williams is my favorite and I hope we’re still in front for him. He’s been blowing up quite a bit lately so idk of his favorites have changed.

Mpagi is a little tough to evaluate. He obviously has the frame and seems to have a knack for understanding how to play the position, so he’s got real potential for growth, but his film is not very useful because he’s a take based on potential progress, not current level of play. I think @golfclap said he hasn’t been paying long and hasn’t been lifting weights much and I know he had a bad injury his sophomore year, so the whole late bloomer/high ceiling potential is there. A lot of him being a take depends on a personal eval and his work ethic. It seems like those are both good, but kind of have to defer to the staff on that. They’ve shown to be good at Evals so far.

like CTJ said, taking a bunch of guys like him (or a class of Sweat, Williams, Mpagi and who knows who else) won’t get us to titles, but we have to get to 10 wins, hell even 8 fucking wins, before we get there.

I don't track them well, and I'm not entirely sure Carrington does either. I'm sure one of the resident lawyers or accountants or engineers who jack off to tracking these things at menial levels will come along to explain shortly. This subject matter is always like a batman signal for them.

Well this resident lawyer finds this silent stuff unbelievably obnoxious and painful to follow, And I prefer to be pleasured by @South Austin‘s Mom, so I’m not much help here but this did make wonder, what profession is Machinator seeing as that he’s basically a database for all recruiting info?

I agree with the sentiment, but this past February was instructive. They're going to take risks late and they'll win bidding wars. There's going to be a couple of high-ranking guys who suddenly show late interest, visit once, and then, voila, they're signing with ATM. Fisher has no compunction for the APR element either, so he's going to take whatever risks he wants and deal with the fallout later.

ATM will dump out on some marginal takes in January and February when they find out who is truly for sale as other programs shy away or fill up.

With such matters considered, that's why I believe they'll sign a top 5 class. I wouldn't want it, and the attrition and bust rates will be higher, but they'll all get to hoot and holler and crow to each other about how great they are irrespective of facts, which is the quintessential aggie maneuver.

I’ll be curious to see how much trap dooring happens and what the backlash is. TX HS coaches can be vindictive motherfuckers but they’re also sometimes all talk. I can’t think of a TX college coach in recent memory who did any of this, so should be a good test case.

Interesting they got Johnson to come down. Sounds like Evans is near-calculator.

Early reports were that he wanted to stay close to home and we're definitely winning that battle, but this guy's is the elite of the elite. He’s gonna have Bama, Clemson, etc coming hard after him, so we’ll have to see how he responds to that first. And how our offense does this year (gulp).

If Shepherd is riding with his coach and Demas then he's making it to Austin tomorrow.  Good deal.

Definitely Sounds like the plan for him to visit UT tomorrow is on pace at the moment. We’ll see if aggy can sway him today. I’m sure they’ll be pushing him hard not to visit.

He, Kenyon Green, and the A&M staff are going to have a fistfight when this is all said and done. I feel bad for Javonne Shepherd

Silver lining would be aggy pissing off Footwork King for the foreseeable future.
