Dubose is an early enrollee.
Are you sure? I thought I read that he was a summer guy

The Margin Hooks connection is an interesting one. Cook was already unhappy with his low usage this year, how would he and Hooks feel about two of his guys who need to get fed on the same team?
It could be a big distraction if the touches aren't there, but it could be close to 2020 Bama on offense if it does with Cook, Golden, Stewart, and Wingo

I imagine he's going to Bama, but it will be interesting to see if we get involved

Not saying he will end up the same, but Warren Sapp came to mind watching that film. An athletic ball bowl of a prospect. The natural power is obvious
I was thinking the same, or a more twitchy Byron Murphy. High motor guy too

Caleb Williams was really the feather in his cap to dispel the notion that he couldn't recruit and develop guys from high school.
He's back to being transfer QB reliant. Let's see how he handles not having a supernova talent like Murray, Hurts, or Williams. Mordecai looked alright, Rattler (high 5 star guy) about the same, but clearly a step down from the others.

This guy's film is nuts. Good news for us, now that he's committed he won't get the bump in ratings as everyone else catches wind of how good he is.

A "hi" for Ty?
I think Trey Moore is just as likely

Good thing for them they have a glut of great OL.
I laughed harder at this than I should have

I dunno what it would look like, but they should partner with 3rd and longhorn and bring more of the player element to it. But consider jazzing it up to interest more than the diehards

I think Thompson is more likely to return than Crawford at this point. Both are unlikely. You are also missing Mukuba at DB and Moore at LB. There will also be a TE and DL added in the portal. Potentially one more WR depending on who enters/leaves.
I could also see another P coming.

At already 6'2" and 240 will he be able to stick at TE?
Unless it keeps him from running, why would that size be an issue at TE?

Anyone have the PFF numbers on Washington's guys compared to ours?

That is interesting because Gabriel is there as well.
QB of the future.
The interesting part of it is, what does this mean for Austin Novosad?
Even more interesting is, he was actually committed to those guys as a HS recruit before UCLA snagged him late.
-
He moves well enough for his size and he'll move better as he reshapes his body. He just needs to learn how to move his body well enough to be effective. Not many OL, D1 or not, are gonna be able to get back in position after getting caught flat footed on a stunt

Taking his commitment this early while we have so much leverage in the recruiting market is a sign of just how highly this staff values Winston.
He's not fast, but he's pretty explosive for his size. Looks like a capable blocker too. His hands are clearly special too.

Which is why I added the bracketed part. You know some of them expected better based on their rating out of HS and the fact they are transferring from Texas.
You're wrong. If they expected better or wanted to pursue a higher profile place, they wouldn't have committed so quickly.

The Foster, Evans stuff seems to have put him on back burner.
Nah, Hibbler was a take. Not easy to get those Mississippi guys if the instate schools want them.
He seemed to shut things down for good after the in-home with the new staff.

Worthy. Not adjusting your defense to defend his speed will get you burned. That said, I'm not sure that necessarily means doubling him all the time. You could also try playing off coverage and just rallying here and there. But I don't think you can really risk doubling anyone else as we work real hard to get Worthy the ball in a lot of ways. If you double someone like Mitchell, we'll either isolate Worthy and he'll beat someone one on one or get you outnumbered in one of our quick screens to him.
Worthy is a gamewrecker. If you don't account for him, the band is playing Texas Fight. Mitchell is more reliable actually catching the ball. He runs really fluid routes and sells his fakes really well. He's the best catcher on the team. Sanders can burn you a number of ways, even with a bad ankle. Whittington is probably our best receiver against zone coverage, and he's winning more consistently against man now.
Blue may have some of the best hands on the team, and definitely the best in the RB room. Very fast and can run P5 WR level routes.
Stop Worthy first, then hope Quinn doesn't see the other guys that are open.

They are going to give our guys a ton of cushion. Worthy could have double digit receptions by the early second half if he's healthy. I think the deep over will be available as long as we can protect as well.
I want to see how they defend our backs getting split out. I imagine they'll opt for pressure, but I could see a ton of success with the screen game from that.
For as much as they motion as an offense, I found it interesting that they have had a hard time defending it on defense.

It is kind of fascinating what the vegas line would be if Oregon had won the last game. Vegas was so in love with UO and if they beat us in that game, who would they love more: UO or Texas. IMO, it should be a pick'em with a couple points in UT favor due to some home field advantage? Not sure if vegas would agree in that hypothetical world though.
I know it's stupid to think about, but just kind of interesting to me.
I believe Oregon would have been favored against us. Maybe 3.5 pts or so.

I’m a member of the Florida gator Reddit page. They’re all unanimous in saying this guy is very slow, wildly overrated and not much of a loss at all. Is that mostly sour grapes or is there a consensus out there that he’s overhyped?
If you watch his film at all, you would know that he's very very fast. He was timed 2 years ago at 10.52, which is similar to Worthy's HS times. He's gotten bulkier since then, but most of his speed is still evident and will only remanifest as he continues to get used to his body.

This is a really good way to boost subscribers. It doesn't boost the ad rev, but it boosts the amount of people who get recommended to the longform stuff.
Timestamps are also useful if the show can be broken up into segments.
