You guys are off base, Terrion Arnold is really really good. He'll have a brain fart here and there, but he's really good in man coverage and great in run support. It is so rare for guys who can cover like him to be a plus in tackling on the edge. He can improve in zone, but most Saban guys don't really major in that.
Even with the penalties, he's worth the pick.
-
He's like a slightly more explosive Johntay Cook with better hands.
I think Cook runs better routes though. Similar athletes.
I can see what Vogel meant when he tweeted the interchangeable thing.
If we get Bolden, he'd be the jitterbug/make you miss guy of the group.

Lost all starters at WR and TE from the previous year. Can't rely on a bunch of 2023 recruits to carry your water there with Quinn's final year and the tone setting season in the SEC.
The 2022 recruiting cycle at WR made this a major need. Both guys we have landed were in that class.

it's the concept of it with all the talent we have. Who gives a shit about splitting hairs if it is a TE or a WR who is on the field at the time.
TTLP and move on. Don't make the mistake bigger than it was

I’m sure this thread will give immamac the warm and fuzzies.

With Barron coming back, I assume that means Guilbeau is gone as soon as that second portal window opens.

Grubb could have been their Major Applewhite to DeBoer’s Tom Herman

Only 4 more years? I imagine the new rate kicks in pretty soon if so.

No idea if we have space but if we do then we have the obvious connection
The replies under this tweet are sad. Tons of UW players are very upset by this. I dunno if they'll be eager to follow him.

He wasn't going against the same level athletes while at Sioux Falls either.
He also wasn't managing high level talent over there either.
He definitely wasn't dealing with SEC recruiting while over there.
-
His recruiting will pick up by proximity and reputation, but they’ll definitely take a step back from what they’ve been doing the past 20 years
-
How about Niblack and Oatis? Maybe a CB while we’re at it too.

Bobby says that Bo's move affected Caldwell's decision/timeline
Caldwell better strike while the iron's hot because he may fall down the pecking order as this coaching carousel precipitates new portal entrants.

he has matured so much from when he came here with that fat face, ugly beard, and mullet. i’m honestly more impressed with his growth than most any player i can think of, due to his stardom and exaltation from the time he was 16 years old. the kid who showed up looking like he didn’t take himself seriously has grown into a much more mature and professional young man. its one thing to grow like that when you’re an underrated, unappreciated 3*player from BFE, Texas, but its whole nother thing to work on yourself and improve that much when you’ve been put on a pedestal your entire life.
there’s 1,000 ryan perriloux’s for every one guy like Quinn. when he got here i did not think that QE had what it took to take himself seriously, and work his ass off as if he *wasn’t* the chosen one, but insyead a no-name guy who would have to bust his ass just to get PT, and he has summarily proved me wrong in that regard. i struggle to name another player in his position who’s shown the willingness to humble himself, work, and grow the way Quinn has. and because of this work, QE is now in a position to where he can truly achieve legendary status, both at Texas and in college football as a whole. really proud of him, and extremely excited to see the final product next season. Hook em Quinn! 🤘🏼
Omg Derka'ed.
I'm kidding, solid post.

I think it's between us and Auburn, with Auburn being the team he grew up liking.
He's just going to A&M out of respect for Holmon (lol despite comments above) and getting a small bag for the visit.
Just IMO based on reading forums.
His dad played at Auburn, and his family is full of Auburn fans. He's also closer to Auburn location wise.

Thought he got away with a travel there too
Definitely did. Had this game on as background noise and was resigned to the loss as we choked down the stretch. Big time win. Unexpected.

Wester’s film was very meh, especially when compared to Bolden’s

Michigan can probably win this game with a FG drive here. A TD drive might cause UW to lose faith altogether.
Look at all those looks of despair on UWs sideline. Even DeBoer looks like "welp"
Arrogant fucks.

No misdirection at all, running with 11 personnel and no one is even being affected by the token motion before the play. McCarthy isn't gonna win this game throwing the ball. Commit to the run with 6 lineman or two TEs. Throw off play action. McCarthy should be able to run some too.
-
Michigan was having their way when running plays out of jumbo packages. They really don't need to spread UW out at all.

They aren't related at all. Eli was at Mater Dei or some other Cali school. Dezz went to IMG from Virginia.
